hi this is my first ever fanfic and English is not my main language. so please bear with me. 😳

ATEEZ just finished their comeback promotion, and they have 2 weeks of rest before the next preparation. All the members were excited, they gathered in the usual meeting room. They turned on V Live to greet Atiny.

"Atiny! How are you guys? We just finished promotion and we miss you guys already." Seonghwa greeted.
"We are planning to go on a small trip. Mom said that we deserve to have a vacation." Wooyoung added.
San and Mingi were the hosts of the meeting, the chaotic duos are making so much jokes instead of seriously discussing about the trip.

"Can we seriously talk about the trip now?" Seonghwa said while trying to hold back his laughter.
"Okay okay" said San with his usual high tone voice
"So guys, anyone have ideas?" Mingi asks the members.
"I've been thinking... I think a trip to an authentic fried chicken restaurant is.." Yeosang threw out an idea.

"Pass!" Mingi cuts Yeosang before he goes on.

"Let's go in a 4 days 3 night trip somewhere!" Wooyoung shouts.
"LET'S GO OVERSEAS!" Yunho shouts louder.
"GAJA!" Jongho added.

Everyone were laughing out loud except Hongjoong. Hongjoong is sitting in the corner with his precious laptop. Hongjoong is going through some premade tracks, already thinking about the next album. Hongjoong was wearing his headset, unaware of the chaos around him.

Seonghwa sees that the younger is busy, he heaved a sigh. It's always been like this these days. Hongjoong barely have any time to spend with the members other than on their schedule. Now, even on their free time Hongjoong is already preparing for the next album. It's not like ATEEZ schedule require Hongjoong to prepare that fast. It's just Hongjoong, overworking is his forte.

Hongjoong used to hang out with them a lot more often. He even joined the 99z (San, Wooyoung, Mingi, Yunho, Yeosang) chatroom at one point because of how close he was to them. And Seonghwa used to be jealous of him. How Hongjoong can be closer to the younger members. (Or maybe he also wanted to be close to Hongjoong, Seonghwa wasn't aware).

But now, Hongjoong was a crazy workaholic to say the least. He basically live in the studio. He ate there, he slept there. Sometimes the members would pay him a visit. Wooyoung and Seonghwa would even cooked something for him. But Seonghwa never included his name as the cook.

Seonghwa was mad.
Seonghwa can't remember when was the last time they were in their room together for more than an hour. But Seonghwa tried to understand Hongjoong's motivatoon. That Hongjoong is doing this for the members.

"Let's not go on overnight trips." Seonghwa told me members.
"Why? Mom, it's been years since we went on overnight trips." Wooyoung pouted.
Seonghwa looked at Hongjoong and the other members follow him. Everyone understood rightaway, and they nod in agreement.

"Let's just go somewhere near, maybe Everland?" Jongho said to the members.

"Wait. I don't get it. Why can't we go on overnight trips?" Mingi asked.

The room grew quiet. Nobody now what to say or react. Some of them were probably trying to hold back slapping Mingi's forehead. But Mingi wouldn't even notice.

"Mingi. I love you but you have to learn to read situations better." Yunho patted Mingi's back.
"I still don't get it" Mingi whispered in Yunho's ears.

"Anyway, I think Everland's a good idea!" Yeosang finally breaks the silence.
"Yea! I don't mind not going on a overnight trip." Yunho smiled at Seonghwa. Seonghwa smiled back, thanking Yunho for being understanding.

"Okay. Then it's the final decision. We are going to Everland!" San knocks on the table just like a judge.

Everyone clap their hands excitedly. Except of course, Hongjoong.

Seonghwa looks at Hongjoong's direction and sigh again. He then whispered to Jongho to tell Hongjoong the final decision since Jongho was sitting beside Hongjoong. Jongho nudged the leader and explained the plan. Whilse San and Mingi was closing the V Live.

"Hm?" Hongjoong opened his headphones.
"We are going to Everland, Dad. You are coming, right?" Jongho asked.
"I..." Hongjoong was about to answer but the chaotic duo voice overpowered his.

"Atiny! It's been decided that we are going to Everland!" San said.
"We are going to post many pictures there so you will feel like as if we're going together!" Mingi added
while making V signs to the camera.
"Thank you for tuning in to our V Live!" San makes cute faces to the camera.

"Oh! Atiny is asking Hongjoong to speak a few words since he haven't spoke anything during this V Live" Mingi read the comments.
"Ahaha our dependable hyung is busy, he's already preparing for the next album. Hyung say something." San dragged Hongjoong to the middle.

"Ah, sorry Atiny for not speaking. I'm really busy right now because I want to prepare the best for you guys." Hongjoong waved to the camera.
"Really busy. As always." Seonghwa mutters under his breath.

Wooyoung and Yeosang understand that Seonghwa is upset. They hug each of Seonghwa's arm.

"Hehet don't fight." Yeosang said cutely to Seonghwa. Making the latter chuckle. Seonghwa nuzzle his nose on Yeosang's and Wooyoung's head.

"Thank you so much! It's been ATEEZ" San waved at the camera.
"Good night Atiny!!!" Mingi made heart signs to the camera. Everyone waved goodbye to the camera.

Yunho turned the camera off.
"Everyone! Tidy up!" Seonghwa announced.
All the younger members groaned in unison.
"Come on boys" Seonghwa put back the chairs to their place.
They all follow along as they sing Everland's theme song. Soon enough, the room was clean.

Mingi screamed in victory "AND...WE'RE DONE!"
Everyone jumped happily.
"TO EVERLAND!" San put his fist in the air.
"TO EVERLAND!" All the other member joined as they pretend to cheers and drink wine.
"GEONBAE" they all said while doing the signature Wave's choreography.

"...Guys, I don't think I can go." Hongjoong said to the members making them silent.
