We have welcomed everyone and I don't feel that kind of good because of Jack let my expectations down, so I decided to go outside, and for one who never lets me down, in some ways she don't do it either this time. I can see Sie Sie already all over Foster. I stand on the porch that is around 5 feet over the grass. We have a small staircase which lead down to the garden which is fenced in. I look down, the music is blasting though the speakers.

As I'm looking down, I feel a creepy, yet comforting gaze stare at me. I expect to meet with Brendon's eyes when I look up, but I don't. The most perfect eyes spot me, down from the pool and makes a static feeling run through every nerve in my entire body. There he is... the infamous Jack Davis. He smiles and makes me weak in my knees. Blood is racing through my body and the need to go talk to him increases. We keep looking at each other smiling and giggling at each end of the garden.

One of the boys calls for him. Foster break free of Sie Sie, he's not willing to leave her, because he wants to introduce him to her. I wonder what their plans are!

Soph appears and says: "Guess it's just going to be the two of us from now on." Making a genuine sad face.

I keep looking down while I answer: "Guess you're right! What are we going to do without her?"

"We're not going to do anything without her. She's the last part of our trio. The three of us has been inseparable since you moved here Val. And that was like in, what? Third grade? We're going to be just fine, so now come with me to the kitchen and get something to flush down with."

Just before I walk in, I look down to Jack again. Foster and Sie Sie are gone, but up against the shed is a nice girl from school, named Octavia, standing. Their bodies are pressed so tightly against each other, right arm over her head and the left on the little spot where Octavia don't stand. He can feel my gaze, I know because as soon as I'm about to turn he looks at me. Those beautiful eyes linked in with mine, while he's standing there kissing another girl.

I'm dancing with Sie Sie and Soph. The evening had gone by pretty fast and now it's like 2 A.M. Most of the uninvited people which mostly now are friends have left and some of our own from school has too. We're nothing more than twenty people by now. Bredon, Octavia, Sie Sie, Soph, Foster and all of them were some of the twenty.

I feel a pair of hands grabbing my waist from behind. Quickly I look around and see Jack with the biggest smile on his face ever. Now I get why people call him a player's nickname.

"Hey, I think you owe me a walk in the dark." He says.

Everyone's tied up by dancing and drinking, some playing beer pong, some making out and so on. I must have looked scared when he said it, because it took a few minutes to process it. I looked up at him.

"What do you want from me, Jack?" I say deeply almost angrily.

He smirks again. "I want nothing but to talk, Val." Saying it with a pressure on my nickname and heavily breathing. And I nod in agreement of talking.

In the very moment we're about to sneak put into the garden, my brilliant brother decides that all of us should play truth or dare. He turns down the music, and I feel a concerned gaze looking at me, already knowing it's Jack. Of course, everyone's in, I'm not though but I've to follow through. The nine people, from school, who don't feel like playing decides to go home.

We're in the living room and the night sky's so pretty. To myself I try to think of how many ways this is going to hurt people or mostly those who didn't drink all night.

We're sitting in a circle on the floor. I sit where the sofa, under the window which is up against the wall to the garden, is. On my right is a girl named Amber, next to her Evan, then Liam, then a Mexican, beautiful girl named Remy. Next to Remy is Vince, my brother. Then Soph, then Sie Sie. Next to her was Foster, then Jack and last but not least Octavia from earlier. And then me again, of course.
