An Unofficial Heartbreak

For what felt like centuries,
I imagined what revenge would be like,
Black colored veins, red lipstick, and a not so holy light.
But oh how powerful,
It may rush to my head.
Only then can I not be saved.

Until a moment of desolation came over me and I cried a flood.
It would not be worth it,
Cutting a slice of silver light out of my soul, just because you caused me pain. I'd only be hurting myself even more.

The best revenge I can do,
Is be happy without you.
