Day 111: Nowhere to Run.

Each and every night, this life.
Endless pages burned, to feel alive.
Her words, she watches with eyes of pain.
Thoughts unheard, they dance in the flames.

To his jacket she clings, her fists so tight.
It gets her through many a lonely night.
Since he left her in the darkened cold.
Hoping to catch even a brief, quick whiff.
Of the Old Spice scent;
She loved so much...

Never did she think, this day would come.
Where she'd be left alone, nowhere to run.
Deep within her mind, lays her one true home.
It gets lonely there, but where else can she go?
