Madison POV
I sat on my mothers couch snuggled close to Dally's side. My mom came into the room with some pink lemonade, "So, Dallas, what makes you think you deserve my little bug." "MOM!" I yelled, blushing from the nickname. Dallas tried to keep a straight face after seeing me blush, "W-Well, Ms.Dixie, I love your daughter with all my heart. I would never do anything to intentionally hurt her. She is my entire world. I don't know what I would do if I lost her." Mom smiled, "I'm glad you feel that way. What would you do to keep my precious Madi?" Mom was being overprotective! Dallas wrapped his arms around me, "I would do anything. I would go to the moon and back for her, catch a grenade for her, I'd even jump I front of a train for her. She is my one true love." Mom smiled, "Good. Now, Madi, do you love Dallas?" I looked at her dumbfounded, "UH DUH!! No offense."
She chuckled, "Close your eyes Madi." I sighed, Mom was ridiculous sometimes. I closed my eyes anyway. I heard giggling and moving. Dallas had gotten up. I pouted a little. I heard heavy breathing. "Madison. Open your eyes," Mom commanded. I opened my eyes to see Dally on one knee, with a ring. My eyes went wide in realization, "D-Dal..." Dallas smiled, "Madison L-" "Don't sat it!" I warned as he began my middle name. He chuckled, "Madison L. Williams, I love you more than life itself. Would you do me the honors and..." He got a little choked up and misty-eyed, "Will you marry me?" I felt tears brim my eyes, "Yes. Oh god yes!" I hugged Dallas tight. Mom was smiling like the Cheshire Cat, "I told you she would love this, Dallas." I sniffled, "You helped him plan this? Best. Mom. Ever!" I yelled, before I went over and hugged her.
I loved my life. I had a great boyfri- fiancé and a perfect mother. I had a place in this world for the first time. I couldn't help but see a perfect life wherever I looked. Nothing could ever bring me down! I love everything!
Can life get any better? I hope so! I feel like I could fly! I felt like my gray clouds had turned silver permanently. Life is great! I now have a wedding to plan.
I never thought I would find someone to marry me! But now, here I am with a fiancé! I guess karma is real after all.
