SINUSUMPA KITA.

"Xariiiiiiiiis"! I shrieked when I saw Jonah.

"Damn girl, I missed you!" I hugged her.

"I know right. Your life must have been boring the whole summer diba?" Dala irap sa akin.

"Uh. No of course not. I was on vacation in Mindanao kaya, duh" Inirapan ko rin sya

"Malay ko ba. You are not active in social media" Sagot niya sabay kuha ng bitbit kong libro. "Oops. Look at 3:00" Patay malisya niyang sabi.

I look at what she means. Tumaas ang kilay ko. Buhay pa pala ang gagong to. He is busy drooling with his girlfriend Tara who is by the way kaibigan ko rin. Plastic nga lang. "Agang aga demonyo nakikita ko" Jonah just laughed at my comment.

Brayden Zion Tanner my arch nemesis. He's my classmate ever since 8th Grade. There is this hatred we have between each other. I really don't know anong meron sa kanya ba't kumukulo yung dugo ko everytime I see him. Ang feeling gwapo ng mokong. Okay fine he's attractive. But hanggang dun na lng yun.

Mas lalong tumaas yung mata ko nang lumingon siya at tumama yung mata namin. He smirked at me at umakbay kay Tara papasok ng room.

"Buwesit. Ang aga aga pa. Sira first day of school ko" Pagdadabog q

Tumawa ang kaibigan ko "Stop it. Don't let him ruin the mood. This is our first day being a 12th grade Halika na, punta na tayo ng room. "

Lumakad kami papunta ng room. Nakasalubong ko si Mason na bitbit yung tambo at walis. "Heeeey guuuuuurl same tayo ng section??!" tili ng bakla

I smiled widely at him "Unfortunately."

Niyakap ako ng baklang palaka "Oh. This is gonna be an interesting school year. Nagsama sama lahat ng honor rolls sa section na to which means we are classmates with your plastic so-called friends!"

I rolled my eyes "Whatever. I just want to graduate and leave this hell, lika na, ni reserve na no Jonah yung upuan natin" sabay ko kuha ng walis sa kanya.

"Dalhin mo na rin tong tambo pang pukpok mo sa pinsan ko" He laughed

"Pasalamat ka hindi kayo magkamukha ng demonyong yun kung hindi kawawa ka sa bugbog q" I laughed at him habang papasok kami ng room.

"Ghurl, gwapo si Brayden and maganda ako kaya talagang magkaiba kami. Our similarities is just we're both attractive"

"Auugh. Stop it Mason. "

"Stop calling me Mason. I'm Massy" She pouted at me. We were now sitting on the last row.

I looked around and familiarize who's gonna be my classmates. On the front row are of course the literal smarty nerds. The middle row is composed of the papansin, the famous, the feeling famous. Anyone who want to fit in. and here I am on the last row. I am supposed to be sitting on the front row knowing how nerdy I am but I don't like being in front. I am actually comfortable here at the back with Massy and Jonah. But the teacher always do the seat plan. Masyado daw kaming maingay so we need to be separated. Hopefully this year hindi strict ang adviser namin.

I once again looked around and nakita ko naman ang demonyong Braydon katabi ang gf ya. They are sitting on the front row. I get it. They're like the perfect couple of the campus. Both smart, attractive and talented. They've been together for a year I guess. Napataas naman ang kilay ko when I saw him whispering something to Tara. Tara shyly smiled at him and nudged him.

I mentally rolled my eyes and get my book and started reading while waiting for the teacher to come.

Riiiiiiiiing.

Finally the sound that I've been looking forward to hear. Lunch break is my favorite period. So far, may three classes are doing good. Or its just because first day pa lang. This is too good to be true pag walang due projects and reports na ipapasa.

Palabas na ko ng room and planning to wait for Massy and Jonah sa labas when Zariah pulled me.
"Hey. Any problem?" I asked her

She rolled her eyes "Join us for lunch"

"Oh. I'm waiting for Jonah and Massy. We'll have lunch at the cafeteria.

"Come on Xaris. Mauna na tayo. Nandun na ang barkada naghihintay"

I held a sigh "okay. I'll just text them na nauna na ako"

"Okay" she said at nauna nang maglakad.

I just hit the send button when I entered the cafeteria. I roam my eyes around and saw my "barkada". I gave a deep breath before walking towards them.

"hey pips" I waved at them.

"Hey Xaris! Kala namin hindi kna sasabay sa lunch" It was Girly giving me her charming smile.
"Ba't naman hindi" I asked her while pulling a chair in my front. Napakunot ang noo ko when I looked at my left when I saw Braydon nakaakbay kay Tara. Tinaasan niya lng ako ng kilay.

I ignored him and grabbed an apple from his tray.
"Hoy. Bayaran mo yan. Patay gutom ka?" Tinangkang niyang agawin ang mansanas

"Shut up Brad. Naiirita ako pag naririnig ko boses mo"

"You always infuriate mo you know that? " Matalim ang tingin niya sakin.

"Should I give myself a big hug for that? " Ibinalik ko na sa tray niya ang mansanas pagkatapos ng ikatlong kagat ko.
He is looking at me very intently na parang gusto niya na akong sakalin.
"Erodlig. You are literally my no. 1 hated person on the list." Matalim na tingin niyo sa akin

I also gave him a cold stare " The feeling is mutual"
The people around us don't care if we are to slit our throats to each other. Sanay na sanay na ang mga barkada kong plastic sa scenario na ito.

Maya maya pa ya dumating na si Jonah at Massy. They sat at the end part of the table. I was about to stand up and transfer to their side when Braydon pulled my hand at pinaupo ulit.

"What the hell?!" I almost shouted
"Ba't ka aalis? Hindi ka kumportable pag ako katabi mo. I know you're in loved at me"He winked at me.

Tara laughed on his statement "Babe, dahan2 lng sa pagsasalita ng ganyan baka ilibing ka ng buhay niyan"

"What the f*ck?!" Lumaki na ba talaga ulo mo Braydon? Why should I be in love with you?"

Napalingon ang ibang kasamahan namin sa table but no one ever dared to speak. They know they need to zip their mouth if I am using that kind of tone.

Pero ang mokong para wala lang sa kanya. Can't he see the fire that builds up in my body na parang gusto ko siyang tadtarin. He even gave me a smile and said "Baka lng naman. I don't find any reasons para i hate ang self ko. He shrugged and kissed Tara's hands.

"You are so full of your self. Pasalamat ka may pumapatol pa sayo eh" Tara laughed again "I am really entertained always tagabmag bicker kayong dalawa".
I rolled my eyes at her.

"How 'bout you Xaris? I have a gf that loves me" Hindi ba talaga to titigil?

"I don't need a man."

"Of course you don't. Kawawa lng magiging bf mo. Siguro siya ang pinaka malas na lalaki sa buong mundo. May sumpa ka yata eh"

That's it! The war is on!

I stand up and dragged my bag with force at tinumba yung upuan and with my head held high I walked out.
