"Are you sure you still want this?" My mom looks at me from the drivers seat and says. "No, but I'm gonna anyway..." First day of a new school, it felt like starting high school all over again. But It was also my chose. Hillside High just wasn't meant for me, I guess, plus the fact that I had no friends there and no one liked me. Well I did have Jen and Emma and Anna, but Jen was always with her other friends, well Emma and Anna just seemed to be happier without me there. Everyone seemed happier without me there. So here I am, Southway Secondary, my new school.
Kamloops was a pretty small town, where everyone knows everyone and it was a short walk or bus trip anywhere.
I was excited, yet really nervous for my first day. Petrified something will go wrong.
"Come on hun I gotta go to work," my mom says.
" Okay, okay I'm going!"
"Have fun!" she yells as I get out of the car and slam the car door behind me. "Yeah, I'll try."
