Your smile was like the sun

It always brightened my day

I thought that you were the one

Until you moved away

Your comments were always clever

You always knew what to say

I thought I'd be with you forever

Until you moved away

Your eyes were deep and warm

Like dark sand at the end of a bay

You were always the calm to my storm

Until you moved away

Your laughter was so mirthful and bright

Not a moment with you was gray

I always thought being together was right

Until you moved away

The feeling of you next to me was comforting and perfect

I could rest in your arms all day

Despite our differences we always clicked

Until you moved away

I miss you every morning and each night before I sleep

I miss you each and every day

Our memories I'll always keep

Even though you moved away
