It has been a hectic couple of months since His Majesty told me I had to win the trial and ever since everyone in the Ruby Palace has been working hard to figure out just who poisoned the adorned Jennette.

We have figured it out and have more than enough to prove it all but it was still going to be a difficult trial because people just want me gone in the first place and don't care as much to find the real culprit.

"Princess, how about you go for a walk?" Lily suggested as she laid the tray of tea on the desk that I was working at. "I can't I'm revising and having to make sure everything is correct. Also, I still need to practice how I should speak because I have to be cautious with how everybody already dislikes and are completely for it that I am the one who poisoned her. Everything needs to be perfect for this trial because everybody's life here depends on it." I ramble as I continued my work.

"You should still get outside. We can bring this outside so the fresh air can help ease your thoughts." Lily says.

I know I wasn't going to win against Lily since I also wanted to go outside. It was a nice day outside and there was a nice fragrance out there because of the rainfall the past two days.

"Okay, okay. I'll have my tea outside." I smiled at Lily before gathering up my work to take with me. "Yes, Princess." Lily smiled softly back at me. What did I do to deserve her?

Lily and I walked outside near the lake where a small table with two chairs waited. I usually had tea here a lot but since I've been so busy I haven't been here in a while. It was a nice area where you could hear the light splashes of the lake and the sun beamed just perfectly. There were tall bushes so I barely even saw the lake but I didn't care to see it anyway I was completely fine with just listening to it.

"Thank you, Lily." I smiled at her she pulled a chair out and filled me with a cup of tea. "Your welcome Princess. Is there anything else you'd like?" Lily asked. "No, you may return to your other duties," I tell her before taking a sip of my tea. Lily bowed before turning to leave.

I put the cup of tea to my lips and just held it there smelling its lovely fragrance. This slowly calmed me down and helped me relax as I allowed myself to drown its sweet scent.

"What are you doing now?" Somebody suddenly said making me jump and the tea splash on my dress. Looking up to see it was only Lucas.

"Lucas! I told you to stop scaring me like that! Now my dress is ruined." I whined to him setting down the tea on the table trying to brush the tea off my dress. "Well maybe if you paid better attention to your surroundings instead of just your tea this wouldn't happen." Lucas rolled his eyes at me. I decided to ignore his last statement.

"How have you been Lucas?" He groaned taking a seat in the other chair at the table. "That chimera is so damn annoying! I swear I haven't met anything so naive in all the years I've lived!" Lucas complained to me exaggerating at its finest.

"Really? That's amazing considering how ancient you are!" I teased him.

"Watch it!" He glared at me. "You know how powerful I am. Don't you dare offend me!" He tries to threaten me. I laughed at him making him pout even more.

"Okay, okay! I need to get back to work." I tell as I began to sort through my documents and other important papers.

"I don't understand why you are so anxious. Do still not understand with me by your side nothing bad will happen." Lucas scoffs, irritated like usual.

"Yeah, well Jennette got poisoned and I got framed for it. You were by my side then to Lucas and this happened which is something bad." I explain to him.

"Are you saying this is my fault?" Lucas questions me. "Of course not. I'm just saying stuff can still go wrong even if you are here."

"Well, I could've fixed it if you'd let me. Only you should just let me wipe out this entire kingdom and then we can just travel the world."

I looked at him to see if he was serious. Only he would be. The thought of traveling the world did sound nice. But I'm not even allowed to go to see ours around our kingdom let alone the world. Lucas could make it possible though. I began to laugh. How ridiculous of me to be considering such a thought.

"What are you laughing at?" Lucas asks now crouching beside me. I turned my body to him.

"You just think of only what you want. Don't you?" I smiled at him.

"Of course," Lucas smirked. "Well, Lucas. One day I hope we can travel the world." I giggle running my fingers through his silky black hair.

"Wait, what? But we can!" Lucas said standing up suddenly. "With permission." I rolled my eyes and he began to pout again. "You always ruin all the fun." He mumbled.

I giggled at his childishness. But I did wish I could travel the world instead of being stuck here.
