Happy Birthday?

*Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn*

"Mornin' Nick" he softly whispered to himself. He got up from his waterbed and went downstairs where he found his mom cooking breakfast for him. 

"Morning baby," kissing his cheek

"Mooooooom" Nick groaned

"Sorry," she responded

"Don't you forget your wig and backpack," His other mom said 

Fortunately, the government did not know of his two moms (they would be arrested). 

"I will mama," he responded

"Why do you only hang out with Brook? Why not Sebastian?"

"1. Brook is all I need as a friend, she really nice. 2. Sabastian too popular."

"Ok hunny"

"Did I remind you to get your wig?" his other mom forgot

"You told me like, 2 mins ago."

"We just want you to be safe and not get carried away. Now go on and eat your breakfast."

"Ok mom," he said

He gobbled up his breakfast as fast as possible, as usual. Grabbed his wig and homework, as usual. Hurried to put in his contacts, as usual. Then, he rushed out the door, as usual. Every day, on his walk to school, he would take out his phone, plug in his headphones and listen to his favo(u)rite music. He would listen to different types of music. Of course, it had to be reasonable. This day he felt like listening to Musicals. The school was 5 blocks away so he had time. 

The moment he got on school grounds, he could tell something was off. His friend, Brook, seemed off (They're both Trans btw). 

"Brook? Is something up?"

"Well...Urrrrrrr, maybe?"

"What is it?"

"Just follow me..."

Ahem, please excuse my weird behavior. 

"Brook, please tell me what's-"

Before he could finish his sentence, Brook took out party hats, cake and anything you can find at a birthday party.

"Surprise! Happy-Birthday?" Brook questioned looking up

"Happy Birthday? Is that a questi-"

A tall figure appeared behind him.

"Hey, heard it was your birthday." Sebastian quietly spoke but loud enough for him to hear

"Heyyyy, Sebastian..." Nick shyly exclaimed

"Ok well, see ya later." As he walked away

"H-he talked to you..." Brook amazed

To embarrassed to talk, he just stood there.

"T-thanks B-brook..." he took the present

"You really like him, don't you?"

"Shut up" he teased

"I'm telling you, you gotta tell him" 

"Hmph" Nick sighed. "Guess we gotta go to class now"

"Good idea" Brook agreed.
