Why always me?

"Kya yar? It's just a one day thought. You shot him dude. Tumne bachaya hai baki ladkiyo ko bhi jo future me aisi gandi harkat ka shikari ho jati. You are a hero. A warrior. You have this brilliant fucking mind, everyone dies to have. And you want to end this life? Han?" He said motivating me.

"But.. but..why always me? Don't they have any other person to try experiment..." I was saying but the blood loss was more and that directed into unconsciousness.

I woke up at an unfamiliar place, with bandaids on my hand. I tried to wake up but someone caught me.

"Are are kya kar rahi ho. Utho mat. Leti raho. Kavin hosh aa gaya." Dushyant said.

"Where am I?" I said.

"You are at our house. We share it." Dushyant said.

"Are aa gaya hosh? Wah bhai!" Said kavin coming to the bed.

"Is it hurting?" He asked.

"Han, bohot zyada." I said regretting.

"Itne cuts jhele nahi ja rahe aur abhi to marna tha madam ko." Kavin said hitting my head playfully.

"Oye, pareshan mat kar use. Chal baju ho." Dush said pushing kavin away.

"You know what Keith, jo life tumhe mili hai na, Aisi life jine ke lie kitne log roz tadpte hai. You should be grateful for that. " dush said.

"Yea. I'm sorry about that." I apologised looking down.

"Kavin ne muje sab bataya. Are nahi wo to mana kar raha tha, par maine kasam de di. Use mat kuch kehna." Dush said.

"Sorry" kavin said pulling his ear.

"That's fine." I said.

"Aur aisi halat me tumhe tumhare ghar to rakh nahi sakte the, isi liye yahan utha lae. Aur doctor ko bulaya." Dush said.

"Thank you" I thanked them both. 

"To chalo bhai kuch khana wana ho jae?" Kavin asked and we all agreed.

I stayed the night at their place. They both were so caring. They were making sure I don't need anything. It was the best company I've had till now.

So after all this, they brought me back to my place on the threat of not going to bureau for 2 days. It was me who always made everyone laugh, but for those 2 days, I think they changed the position.

I joined the bureau again after 2 days and started the work as always, all cheerfully and annoyingly.

"Oye pinku dekh, agar tune ye chheena na to fir katti honi hai teri meri." I said snatching my candy.

"To ghar se khud leke kyu nahi aata." I said pulling it my side.

"Me tumhari Tarah scooty me nahi aata na, jo kisi bhi dukan pe rok saku is traffic me." Said Pankaj.

"Wah beta! Ab tu hi reh gaya tha na uspe comment karne ko?" I said again pulling it my side when the door cracked and dekho kaun aaya?

"Sir" I said. "Sir" Pankaj also said.

"Ye kya chal raha hai han bureau me? Dukan bana ke rakh di hai puri ki puri. Itna shor." Said the one and only dcp chitrole.

"Sorry sir" we both apologised.

"Ye sab is pradhyuman ki wajah se. Chalana hi nahi aata bureau. Sab muje hi karna padta hai." He said and glanced at acp sir's cabin.

"Han wo andar hi hai." I said.

"Han malum hai muje. Jao kam karo apna apna sab." Saying that he went into acp sir's office.

"Aur wo muje do." He said signalling the candy.

"Par sir" I said but he just shushed me and took it.

"Chheen na aata hai inhe bas." Said Pankaj and I agreed.

Everyone was gone for solving a case and we didn't have anything to do. So we started playing bhagam bhag. Ji han isme bhagna hota hai.

We were playing peacefully ki dcp fir aa gaya.

"Arey tum logo ko kuch kam vam nahi hai kya? Ye dekho acp, idhar. Kuch sikhao apne officers ko." Saying that he left making a funny face.

I was running when I hit onto someone. It was sachin. The team returned from the site.

"Ouch" we both said in pain. "Kya kar rahi ho Keith, dhyan rakho na!" Said sachin.

"Sorry par bhagooooo!" I said and he also joined us.

And just like that we all joined the game. But the bureau was a little small I guess. Aur shor thoda zyada hi ho gaya.

So after hearing the noise, acp sir came out and scolded everyone and ordered to go back to work. Everyone followed his orders and went back.

Daya sir came opening the door. Opening the door!!!!! Kafi kam dekhne milta hai aisa.
Durlabh darshan.

"Sir" he said to acp sir.

"Han daya" acp sir replied.

"Sir wo meeruth se pakde gae gundo me se ek gunda bhag gaya sir." He informed.

"My god. Bhag gaya? Lekin kaise?" Acp sir asked.

"Sir jab use yahan la rahe the tab sir. Gadi me baithate vakt havaldar ko dhakka mar ke bhag gaya." Said daya sir.

"Havaldar ne bataya ki uske ek panv me kuch problem this sir." He added which got my attention.

"Kaisi problem?" Asked abhijeet sir.

"Uska data check kiya tab malum pada ki use 6 goliyan lagi thi us panv par. Shambhu nam tha uska." Daya sir said and now I got worried.

"To fir bhaga kaise wo?" Asked acp.

"Sjr wo bad me jab havaldar ko thoda third degree diya tab usne bataya ki shambhu ne paise diye the usko bhagane ke lie." Daya sir said.

He has threatened me. He'll be back he said. So what? I'm stronger this time. Let him come. Dekh lenge.

Kavin was not there when daya sir said that.
Aur me use pareshan bhi nahi karna chahti thi. So I just hid it.

15 days passed like that and nothing happened. I and kavin were becoming friends now, but Purvi was not liking it. We never talked about that kiss after that time.

We both knew it was something more than just friendship. And it all happened after that meeruth trip. Hah. Jo hota hai achhe ke lie hi hota hai! Arjun ne kaha tha na? Are kisine bhi kaha ho, hua to achha hi hai!
