With tears in my eyes,
I looked at you and smiled.
My mind flew with memories of our past.
Our first words,
Our first hug,
The first kiss,
And the first evermore.
You took the chance and the spark flew,
I replied and the fire burned and only continued to grow.
With the bonfire lighted,
And refusing to quit,
We've lasted this long and we will continue to be.
My Love,
My Giant,
The Man of My Dreams.
You were the one who sparked the fire in me.
(A/N: This was the first poem I ever wrote for my boyfriend, and he had actually teared up since this was the first time anyone had made anything like this for him, and being a lover of poetry and writing my own poems, I plan to write a lot more in the upcoming future! BTW, he has asked if I could write some fiction stories about us and everything we've gone through, so I will try to! Not sure how they're going to turn out, but if anyone would like to read it and tell me how it is, that'd be great!!😁)
