Chapter 2 Shadows part 1

Shadows engulfs everything into darkness
And as people say only light can prevail darkness
But what if i tell you that it was the light,  who gave birth to  the......

Place-The Boston Cemetery
Time-8 am

'I am so sorry, buddy' Anthony's father gathered the boy in his chest as tears flooded his eyes, the boy looked up to his father tall, strong, proud, the look of sadness just doesn't  fit in with the proportion of this man

Anthony looked towards the box where his mother lay still with white roses in hand. He struggled to reach for his mother but he knew it was pointless
just knowing that made tears to flow through the child's eyes, he planted his face in his father's shoulder, the grave was slowly dug and  the box  was inserted inside the grave with the cries of agony of a little child and his father

Place-The Davidson mansion
Time-1 pm

Anthony sat on his study looking out of the window

The birds chirped, the trees flowed with the rhythm of the wind, the  mighty sun shone brightly, the water in the family pond glistened as sun rays stroke it

It was beautiful

Anthony punched his table

My mother just died
Nothing deserves to be beautiful

After a moment or two there was a small knock on his door 'Come in' Anthony muttered, just loud enough for the outsider to listen

The door opened and his father walked in 'How are you doing?' Anthony looked down 'I don't know' he whispered as a tear traced down his cheek, the father rushed forward and took the boy in his arms 'Everything gonna be okay as this man will always have your black' the father slowly stroked the young boy's head

Always have your back

'Anthony!!!'

Charlie was shaking Anthony as the boy was lieing on the washroom floor Anthony slowly opened his eyes 'Ahhh..' he groaned Charlie took a sigh of relief  'Tell me, what gave you the idea to take a nap on the  washroom floor' Anthony looked at his friend and flashed a fake smile 'I didn't get any sleep last night so i was a bit dizzy' Charlie looked at his friend suspiciously then sighed 'Come on we got PE class now and if we don't reach there in time, i see 10 laps around the whole ground in the future' Anthony got to his feet and ran for the ground with his friend as  images of his mother in the coffin and his father crying crowded his mind
