"Nene, calm down. Let me explain." My brother says, coming towards me.

"Get out. Don't touch me. Both of you are so stupid and shameless." I can't believe this is happening.

"Are you mad? Who are you talking to like that?" My brother says, fuming.

"I'm not mad. You're the mad one."

Wham!!

Adanma's Pov

"Head girl, go along with the head boy now. It's time to carry out your lunch break duties." Miss Evans says to me just as the bell goes off.

The teacher that had been teaching us took his leave just then, reminding us to complete our assignments before the next class.

"Yes ma." I step out of the class.

The head boy, the boy from before, Daniel Walters, was in the science class so I had to go meet him there.

"Daniel, it's time, let's go." I tell him immediately I get into his class, leaving as fast as I entered, without waiting for a response.

Every break time, the senior prefects were expected to organize all the students to the dining hall. It was a new rule though. The principal came up with it sometime last week.

"I'll go to the junior block. You can deal with the senior block." Daniel says from behind me. I nod in agreement.

"It's break time, to the dining hall now." I order the Ss2 students I meet in the class.

"Madam didn't you see me addressing the class." I turn my head to the voice that just spoke. Who is this one?

"Who are you?" I ask the scrawny looking man in front of the class. He isn't a teacher here. I've never seen his face here before.

"What do you mean by that? Where are your manners?"

I really don't have time for this. I look around the class for clues of his purpose here and I find some. There were new textbooks on the table in front of him and he held one of them in his hand.

Oh he must be a bookseller. An ordinary bookseller. I owe him no respect.

"To the dining hall now." I say to the students once again, disregarding the ordinary bookseller's presence.

"Nobody leaves this class."

Oh, so we're playing who's boss now?

"To the dining hall." I tell the students once again, making sure to add that tone that dares them to do otherwise.

I watch as they scurry to their feet.

I'm boss.

I leave the class, not bothering once about what he thought of me. Some steps away, I hear the Ss2 students behind me walking down the halls quietly. They wouldn't dare make noise when I'm around.

Our lunch break was over and all the students, except the head boy and I had dispersed to their various classes. My driver would be picking me up any moment from now. He had told me he would be here around this time on the ride here.
