Chapter 4 - Unexpected

"You don't know shit!" You screamed at the hero while looking at him with an angry look. What he was saying was true, but there was so much more to it than what he was saying.

"Feel free to share your side of the things" Hawks said with a smirk on his face, but you didn't need to justify yourself to a hero that works with villains.
You let your fist fall down against the glass, your hand was hurting but there was no dent on the glass at all, breaking it was not an option.

"After you tell me what made the number two hero turn to the dark side. Have you always been there or is this the first time? Weren't you just running around with Endeavor? I wonder what he would think if he heard about this.. or what the whole world would think. Nobody would even care about my past at that point" you rambled on, looking closely at the changes in Hawks expressions.

"Like you said, you don't know shit" Hawks had a blank face as he talked.
Before you could try to taunt the hero more, you saw someone from the corner of your eye. You quickly turned to look, Dabi was walking towards Hawks on the other side of the glass.

"You having fun here?" Dabi asked the hero with annoyed tone as he made his way right next to the table.

"Now I am", Hawks said jokingly as he turned to look at Dabi. You took a few steps away from the glass.
Even though Hawks was working with the villains he still didn't seem like one, but Dabi was way different, he definitely seemed like a villain. Just looking at him made you feel uneasy.

"They will pick her up tomorrow.." Dabi muttered to Hawks while glaring at you.

"Who will pick me up?" You asked confused, you had no idea what their plans for you were but that didn't sound good.

"Why is the mic on Hawks.." Dabi asked angrily but with a quiet voice.

"How was I supposed to know you were going to talk about the plan" Hawks smirked at Dabi who got even more pissed off about it.

"Why else would I come see.." Dabi's voice was cut off as he pressed one of the buttons on the control table. Soon the glass turned back into a mirror on your side, making you unable to see the two.

You turned away from the mirror to view the room they kept you in.
The water on the floor was annoying, the shoes of your costume were missing so you were walking bare foot. Everything else from your costume was still there.

Now was the best time to use the bathroom so you headed in there. The floor in that room was raised so it wasn't covered in water like the main area.
It was small but had all the basic things every bathroom had, you closed the door as you stepped in there. You would have locked it just in case but there was no lock on the door.

After checking every corner for hidden cameras you felt free to use the bathroom.
As you washed your hands you saw the mirror above the sink.
In case they could hear you, you turned on the shower before smashing the mirror with your elbow.

You took one of the hand towels from the wall and grabbed a broken mirror piece with it, if you couldn't use your quirk than this had to do as a weapon.
As you were about to hide the piece somewhere you heard a sound coming from the main room, did they hear you? Whatever it was this could be your change to escape.

You opened the bathroom door with force, seeing Hawks flying above the water few meters away from the exit. For a few seconds he just stared at you doing nothing, you charged at him and raised the mirror piece on your hand.

"I will not underestimate you again!" You yelled as you jumped up, trying to stab Hawks with your weapon.
He grabbed your wrist to stop your attack and with the other arm on your waist he kept you up in the air as he floated above the water.
You looked up at him to see he had a weird look on his face that you couldn't read, and for some reason he wasn't fighting back.
