It was the last day I was able to leave the house. All morning I was cleaning around the house so I was able to leave to go to my friend Bowde's surprise birthday party. Marilyn and Chelsey were already there I was running late but just in time to surprise him. That was one of the best days that I have had all year , I was with my friends having a great time. When I am not home and when I am with my friends I feel happy and free , you know those cheesy teenage groups in movies ? That was us we were unstoppable and we didn't care who talked all we knew was that we were living life like it was our last day. If you were to have met me before them you would have thought I was boring and a buzzkill and that was because I was always worrying about my mom (what she would think of me). The one thing Marilyn taught me is that we are not always promised tomorrow, I never understood that until all of them. We were the best of friends, we were always together I spent the most of my time at Marilyn's . I never told her but it felt like a safe space for me to get away from judgement away from criticism.
It felt like home but it wasn't her home that made me feel that way it was her.She is pretty amazing. Anyway I spent basically the whole day at Bowde's party till like eleven at night . We did so many fun things. We found Bowde's dad golf kart and we took it for a spin, we rode that thing the whole day we all took turns driving. When I drove they said I was too crazy , I probably was. But the wind in my hair felt great I was on top of the world. We had some great food and sung happy birthday to Bowde. The night sky began to fall and we all decided to go back to Bowde's moms house which was like a 15 minute ride. So we all hopped into Jason's car and left, instead of taking the boring way, we went through the desert going through all of the hills. We were bumping loud music having the best time. When we got to the house we listened to some more music and had a pretty chill time until I had to go home. Before that I was playing with this big stuffed animal that mamma Nettie had in her guest room, She said if I loved it so much then I could have it. So I took it home. She is pretty awesome too she's like a second mamma. My house is pretty far out past the train-tracks so it takes awhile , we finally got to my house. I said my my goodbyes but if I knew that was the last time I was going to see them for awhile I would have said goodbyes longer. Probably would have given them hugs and not let go. I go into my house head straight for my room but before that my mom asks what we did all day. After I finish telling her what I was doing all day she tells me that there is no school next week and that I am not able to leave the house cause our house is officially on lock down. I was stuck on Lombardy for a week or what I thought what would be a week.
