We were both covered in gross green slime
"Ergggg..."
I groaned as I whipped my hand to fling off some slime.
Leon chuckled and kicked a monster's head out of his way as he stepped up to me and pulled a long string of slime off my head.
"Ew."
He said, shaking the slime off his fingers!
"Let's go, maybe it'll come off on it's own?"
I prayed and Leon nodded as we left the room.
Just as we entered the hallway Leon's walkie talkie buzzed and my earpiece crackled.
"I wonder if you can see me Mr Kennedy and Ortega?"
"If you even scratch her I'll break your bones."
I threatened Salazaar.
"First we will see if you can make it this far. Ill be waiting."
The call ended.
"Basterd."
I whispered and Leon kissed my head then immediately pulled back,
"Arg! Slime- mouthful of slime."
I couldn't help but smile at that, it didn't last long though.
Leon and I moved swiftly through the castle and all the enemies we encountered.
We were outside the castle, on the wall and I took out my binoculars.
"Ah shit."
I groaned as I saw Ashley being led by Salazaar and a bunch of guards through some large doors.
They closed behind her.
"You see her?"
"Yeah... and Salazaar."
Leon sighed as we began to walk towards the giant doors,
"After this is all over. When we go for dinner, I owe you a huge dessert."
He said and i smiled,
"If anyone owes anyone anything it's me."
He gave me a confused look,
"Ok that didn't make much sense- what I'm trying to say is I owe you much more."
He chuckled,
"For what?"
I shrugged.
"For everything."
He gave me a sweet smile.
"We'll call it even mk?"
He said, and I nodded.
"Alright. For now."
He chuckled again as we finally reached the doors.
I pushed it open,
"Ashley!"
I saw her, her hands tied as she was on her knees on the floor, two guards holding swords at her.
Leon came in behind me to see the room.
"(Y/N)...Leon..."
Ashley looked like she was on the verge of tears and I moved towards her but a maniacal laugh stopped me.
"Oh it's the lovely couple, don't you know when it's time to throw in the towel?!"
Salazaar lifted his hand and pushed a button on the handle of his chair.
