"Gumising ka nga..." He pushed my shoulder lightly. 

"What the fuck, Engineer Camero, ang aga-aga." I placed a pillow on my face so I wouldn't see the harsh light since he turned the lights on. 

"Kanina pa tumutunog cellphone mo. Naiingayan ako." He sounded annoyed. "May tumatawag sa 'yo. Alice pangalan." 

I pushed him away and turned my back against him. I was trying to sleep! Bakit ba nanggugulo siya?

"Eleven na," he said.

Agad akong napaupo sa kama, gulo-gulo pa ang buhok ko at inaantok. I almost fell on the bed when I tried to reach for my phone, which made Sevi laugh. When I looked at the time, my facial expression changed. 

"Fuck you, it's six o'clock!" I threw a pillow in his direction. Nasalo naman niya kaagad at binalik sa akin.

"Sagutin mo 'yan. Ang ingay," he simply said before leaving the room. 

"Ah! So annoying!" I pulled my hair in frustration before answering the phone. "Alice, hey?" Nag-iba ang boses ko bigla.

She just informed me that she will be late this morning kasi nasiraan ang kotse niya. My eyes were still closed, half-asleep. Sana tinext na lang niya ako. Nagising pa tuloy ako. 

I ended the call and went to the bathroom to wash my face. Pagkalabas ko ng kwarto, nakasandal si Sevi sa countertop ng kusina at may kagat na toasted bread habang nagte-text. He was wearing a pair of black jeans and a plain white shirt, nakaangat pa nang kaunti sa may belt niya. He glanced at me and took the bread out of his mouth when he saw me leaving the room. 

I was glaring at him when I went out of the room. Tinaasan naman niya ako ng kilay. "You're welcome ah," he sarcastically said. "May trabaho ka 'di ba? Ginising ka na nga, eh." 

Padabog ko siyang tinulak paalis sa countertop para kuhanin 'yong tinapay sa likuran niya. He almost stumbled so he glared at me. I rolled my eyes and opened the toaster so I could eat my breakfast. 

"Init ng ulo ah," he commented. 

"I only had three hours of sleep." I was still glaring at him. 

"Bakit galit ka sa 'kin? Kasalanan ko ba kung bakit hindi ka makatulog?" He raised a brow. 

"Yes!" I looked at him. 

My lips parted a little when I realized what I just said. He looked away, pretending that he didn't hear anything. Inubos niya na lang ang tinapay niya at pumunta sa dining para roon kumain. I pursed my lips and inhaled a large amount of air, calming myself. 

He just smirked and took a bite of his bread. I sat in front of him and reached for the chocolate spread. I tried to open it, but I just woke up, so my hands were still weak.
