The Wrong Descendant// Descendants and Once Upon A Time

Chapter 1

"Do you realize that I'm not Chinese?" Teagan questioned her "father" who was now sitting on the ratty old couch in the living room.

He laughed and looked back at the girl, "I do realize that you aren't Chinese, Teagan. I just thought you would appreciate having a home here on the Isle."

"Thank you." She smiled. "So what do I do now?"

"Well, you will go school here starting tomorrow. One of the fellow students will show you around."

"Got it."

~A few years later~

Prince Ben was looking over at the Isle while he was getting his fixed by Lumiere. Ben heard Lumiere say, "Sleeve. Head!"

"How is possible that you're going to be crowned king next month? You're just a baby." King Beast questioned his son.

"He's turning sixteen, dear." Queen Belle responded to her husband.

"Hey, pops." Ben said to his father.

"Sixteen? That's far too young to be crowned king. I didn't make a good decision until I was at least forty-two."

"Uh, you decided to marry me at twenty-eight." Belle said to her husband with a "what are you talking about" face.

"Ah, it was either you or the teapot." Beast laughed, but Belle didn't find it funny. She just stared at King. "Kidding."

"Mom, dad?" Ben questioned his parents. They both stopped talking and looked at the future king. He started to move off of the pedestal that he was standing on, but Lumiere made a noise so Ben stood still. "I've chosen my first proclamation. I've decided that the children on the isle of the lost be given a chance to live here in Auradon." Belle, Beast and Lumiere gave the future king a shocked expression. "Every time I look out to the island, I feel like they've been abandoned."

"The children of our sworn enemies, living among us?" Beast asked, still a shocked expression on his face.

"We start out with a few at first, only the ones that need our help the most. I've already chosen them."

"Have you?"

"I gave you a second chance," Belle put her hand on her husbands arm, and then turned to her son and gave him a sort of smile, "Who's their parents?"

Ben took a deep breath and said, "Cruella De Vil, Jafar, Evil Queen, Shan Yu," That last one made the King shiver. He remembered when he encountered Teagan a few years ago, and he didn't want to have another one with her. "And Maleficent."

Everyone was taken by the last villain. Beast looked at his son and said, "Maleficent! She is the worst villain in the land!"

"Dad, just hear me out!" Ben replied almost instantly.

"I won't hear of it. They are guilty of unspeakable crimes!"

"Dad, their child are innocent. Don't you think they deserve a shot at a normal life? Dad?"

"I suppose their children are innocent." Beast said. "I don't know about Teagan though. You need to keep an eye out for her. She somehow escaped the Isle."

"Teagan?"

"Shan-Yu's daughter." Beast said. "My men found her in the dark forest and we still don't know how she got off of the Isle."

"I'll make sure I'll keep an eye out."

"Well, well done." Belle smiled at her son. "Shall we?"
