damon gave katherine body who got it to elena when she got the body she set it up for the spell she did the ressurection spell and lexi shot up and looked at her

"mom" lexi said

"hey lex we missed you" elena said lexi got up and gave her a hug

"where's angel" lexi asked she missed her older sister

"mikaelson mannor" elena said

"mikaelson" lexi snapped

"you know her as stubborn as ever" elena said

"of course" lexi said

"well i'm going back to new orleans you can go get your sister" elena said and vamped out lexi vamped to the mikaelson manor and seen a girk waking up she followed the girl inside

"i got the diary" bonnie said everyone looked at her

angel seen lexi behind her"lexi"

"hello stubborn its nice to know your attitude hasn't chaged" lexi said

angel vamped to lexi and gave her a hug"your not allowed to do that again i was ready to send every last vampire after you"

"yeah cause davina was gonna allow that" lexi smiled

"that bitch don't want to try me not after my already just told her he will kill her" angel said"anyways before i start with that topic this is my family my dad my aunt rebekah my uncles elijah and nik"

"i heard about y'all" lexi said

"what are y'all looking for with the journal" bonnie sad

"let me see" angel said bonnie handed it to her she went to the date the originals were turned

i made a terrible mistake today i might have broke my daughter forever but i had to for her future i did dark magic and i seen what the future holds for her if i didn't lie about her dying her future would have been great up to a point some witch under the name devoux woud have cursed her and made her be reborn her life would have been great except she would never rememeber angel or kol she'd start a new life hate the origianls even kill one she'd fall in love with the wrong person and never see angel again because i lied elena has her daughter and saves someone and raised her like a daughter she saves countless witches who were being treated wrong even though she still hates the originals for what i did to her i need to protect her she has the original spell after i told the lie i sensed that my daughter was pregnant i feel bad but its what i had to do"

"all i heard was elena still remembered angel" lexi said

"she lied to protect my mom from countless things i wouldn't be able to live with myself if she didn't remember me" angel said she looked at the page and she noticed something"invisble ink" she waved her hand over it and it became visible

"on march 12th watch her closley she is being followed by someone with the power to hurt her because there future got ruined because of me" lexi read

"march 12th thats today" bonnie said

"see ya" angel said and her and lexi vamped out angel spelled them to new orleans like her mom does they found elena in the compound with marcel

"look who's returned" marcel said

"hey marcel" lexi said

davina walked in and looked at elena"you ruined my future"

"of course its her" angel said and threw davina at a wall with her magic lexi vamped to her and checked her and found a white oak stake

"found it" lexi said

"what the hell" elena shouted

"they weren't lying mom i got your mom's diary she did lie to them but she seen the future if she didn't lie then you would have been happy but you would have gotten reborn by a witch and you forgot about me and you forgor about dad you got a new family then she seen if she lied this would happen you wouldn't loose me or lexi but you would hate the originals" angel said

"let me see that" elena said angel gave her the diary and she looked at the entry and a few after"damn it"

"what" marcel said

"i still don't want to see them" elena said

"mom" lexi and angel yelled

"and why the hell is davina trying to kill me" elena said

"i don't know" angel said

Elena was sitting on a bench it was night the streets were dark not a lot of people were around kol came and sat next to her."1000 years i hid i was protecting my girls that was my mission thats it thats all i cared about. Nothing else mattered. Not love not forgiveness nothing. I thought that y'all left and just didn't want to come back. But now everything that i ever knw is changing. That my mom set off a different reality cause she wanted her daughter to live the life she needed. Cause she knew that my daughter needed me and that meant that i had to lose everything else."

"Elena-"

"Please don't" Tears well up in her eyes."I thought that everything would be fine. That i could just go one like i didn't just learn that everything i had ever knew was a lie. But i can't. I know that i can't and thats whats upsetting me. I want to pretend and go on like i have been. Protecting myself and my girls but i can't. Because i know that it isn't right." She turned towards him."Do you still love me don't lie to me."

He leaned in and kissed her. He pulled away and looked at her."Always."

"How."

"Because there is no way that i couldn't be. You may sometimes be a little crazy but you gave me everything i wanted in life in the matter of three years. I spent the last thousand years trying to figure out a way that i could get you back. But it never took and now i know why."

Elena smiled and looked back into the distance."I wish you could have helped me raise her. I wish that she would have gotten to know you."
