my world is spinning out of control
faster it spins
whirling out of control
swirling whirling faster
faster faster faster
(disaster)
once my world was simple
simple as a thimble
in the care of my hands
smooth and tan like beach sands
but now it never lands
and if it ever does it won't be just because
because i know the cost of gas
and the cost will never pass
and i will always finish last
