Chapter 5

Rebecca finally got to the door of the security room gasping for air, looking back she still saw nothing. Still feeling a little queasy about this, she didn't know what it was but something felt very very wrong here, she could put her finger on it but it did. She all of sudden realize it! There was no noise coming from the security room, she thought [where is the security guard?] As she put her ear on the door. But as she put her ear on the door and the door drifted inwards with a creek, and she noticed that lock was broken inwards like something heavy slammed against it. Then she looks inside hesitantly and saw it was pitch black and smelt like something died there months ago, which was extremely unusual because she just visited the security guard before she started her shift just today! It was all working, no broken-down door, and most definitely not the smell that was there and it only been hours, not months. She decided to investigate even though how disturbed she was. She slowly crept in taking out her flashlight she kept with her in case of emergencies, as she looks around the security room or what's was left of it. To her horror and surprise the entire room was splattered with blood and the seaming new 15 security screens she saw not that long ago, was reduced to 2 warped and cracked monitors and scattered remnants of the rest spread outwards from the wall the monitors were attached to. The room looks like a beast broke in and completely wrecked the place and then she noticed that one of the screens that survived was lit up with static, but what caught her attention was the date and time that was frozen in the upper left corner......... It read as 7:35 P.M Mar/23/2059! That was the time her son's last worked before he went missing!
