from Claudia's point of view:
Summer holidays are in full swing, almost a month of holidays is over. Time runs so fast when you are enjoying the present moment. My parents split up and since my mother is not the richest, this year we decided not to go on holiday abroad but to stay in this country and make some trips. I will not lie, I regret that I will not see the sea this year. But what I can do, I won't spend the last month crying on my pillow, I will try to enjoy the well-deserved vacation and get some rest. We decided to go on vacation to the near town and spend there some days. There won't be a sea but the pool is okay too. We packed our suitcases, sat down in the car and traveled about half an hour. We traveled relatively quietly. My mother listened to the radio, my sister was playing some boring games on her mobile, or she nodded to the people through the window. I didn't want to listen to music so I spent half an hour looking through the window. We arrived, got out of the car and went to the reception. The receptionist was very nice, gave us the keys to the room and had a 10-minute conversation with herself. She talked about where to find the pool (although it was seen through the windows at the reception...), then she talked about where we can find the dining room (though right next to the reception is a large sign the Dining Room), eventually she gave us some paper with phone numbers from the reception and wished us some nice days. We are accommodated on the fourth floor which should not be a problem but we were surprised and disappointed to find that there was a lift in this hotel, but only for staff. So we had to take stairs to the fourth floor with heavy luggage and suitcases. The idea of losing the next few days walking up the stairs was not funny. We came to the fourth floor, opened the room with the keys, and found that our room was a bit smaller than it was in the pictures. And when I say "bit smaller" I mean... a lot smaller. One double bed for my mom and sister. Couch ... for me. The wardrobes were too small for us to put our stuff there at all. This is the first vacation in which we are keeping things in suitcases. We changed to our swimsuits, took the towels and went to the pool. I was pleased that at least the pool was large. I looked around when suddenly I saw one black girl. Beautiful, dark and mysterious as night. I couldn't look away. She noticed it. She looked at me, studied me from head to toes. When I looked into her eyes, I felt frost all over my body, saw pain and ... fear?
