Takes place after Terror of the terra-Fermians!

He messed up...

Huey has one job and one job only: to take care of his brothers and he did the exact opposite. He lead them straight into danger, how could he do something so irresponsible? He was a terrible excuse for a brother.

Beakley asked Louie and Dewey to leave the table after everyone was done with their pancakes, (except Huey of course who didn't eat any due to His guilt.)

"Kids, we need to talk about what happened today,"  She's always so patient and calm when she talks, even when she was mad, and punishing them. She kinda reminded him of Donald that way. He can be loud and he has a temper but after he calms down he's usually very reasonable.

"Granny, I know you're mad and I'm really sorry-"

"It was mostly my fault"Lena said.

"I'm not mad, I'm just- I want you to understand that you can't go off and adventure without a adult, Scrooge is there for a reason. To keep you safe. If  something were to happen, I don't know what I'd do-and I'm sorry if I was too hard on you earlier."

"It's fine"Lena said.

"We are sorry granny"Webby added.

"Just promise me you won't run off like that again."

"Ok"Lena said.

"We promise,"Webby added.

Huey nodded without making direct eye contact.

"Alright, now get out of here so I can clear the dishes"She said happily, Webby and Lena ran off but Huey stayed where he was, no matter what he tried, he couldn't stop thinking about it. She's right, Huey is the oldest. It was his job to take care of his younger brothers, he can never forgive himself for forgetting that.

They almost got hurt, What If they-

No! He can't think that way. Nothing bad was going to happen...

"Huey..."

He looked up at Beakley who took a seat beside him "Is everything alright?"

Not only did he lead them underground but after they were in harms way he just stood there like an idiot letting Webby and Louie stay behind and save him.

"Huebert?"

He finally snapped out of it, he couldn't help himself, "I messed everything up, I lead my brothers into danger and almost got everyone killed".

Beakley seemed shocked at first.

"It's my job to keep them safe and I failed."

Beakley shook the feeling "First of all, it is not your job to keep your brothers safe, it's your uncles job, and my job. You're job is to be a kid, you're responsible for you and you alone."

'Agree to disagree' he thought.

"And second of all, Don't be so hard on yourself. Your uncle has endangered me I don't know how many times."

"No way,"Huey said "He'd never mess up this badly."

"Just wait..."She says "You'll see for yourself." then continues to clean the table, Huey started to help her stack the plates since he's not allowed in the kitchen and he has to do something.

"For what it's worth, I think you're a good kid. You have so much potential, you're going to become somebody, do  big things someday. Don't let this one mistake define you."

Huey was stunned, nobody has ever said that- besides Donald..

"Huey, you have such a short time being a kid. You should enjoy it"And with that she left. 

Huey smiled despite how bad he still felt. He wasn't sure how he'd adapt to this new family but so far, Beakley was ok.
