Forgiveness
Is like asking me to turn around
When I was given the wrong directions;
Forgiveness is covering myself
When I asked you for protection;
Forgiveness is doing things over again
Because someone else messed it up;
Forgiveness is loving someone
When they've never shown you love.
Forgiveness is difficult
When you're trying to forgive someone else;
But forgiveness is the hardest thing in the world,
When you're trying to forgive yourself.
