Chapter 6

"Stay alert!" Kageyama shouted

When Rizumu did a rebound, your team knew that someone needs to break that wall. So she used signals and which all of you nodded. Juvia received the ball, passing it to Izumi again. This time, you we're going to do a back attack with Cattleya being used as the decoy. Cattleya jumped and pretended to spike the ball while on the other hand Tsukishima almost felt for the trap but Kageyama immediately grabbed Tsukishima's jersey, stopping him.

When Kageyama saw you in the back, that's where he realized that it was a back attack. So he tapped Tsukishima's shoulder, telling him to get ready. You jumped and was already in the air but you were a bit astounded when you saw two blockers but this didn't stopped you to gain another point for the team. You smirked and directly aimed at their fingertips causing the ball to fly off the court.

"They weren't joking when they said it's tricky when it comes to blocking (f/n)-chan's spikes" Takeda-sensei said in amazement

The game ended after a while resulting you and your team the winners. It was expected since they're playing against a team that already went to Nationals and Internationals. You and your team then lined up with the boys doing the same.

"Thank you for playing with us" all of you said in unison while bowing

After the game, your team and the boys cleaned the gym like putting the balls back in the basket, mopping the floor and lowering the net. After you cleaned up, you, Rizumu and Izumi went ahead while the boys were still loading up their bags.

"Their setter is kinda interesting" you said out of the blue

"Oh? What's this? (F/n)-chan's got a crush?" Izumi asked while smirking

"Oh~ someone's got a crush~" Rizumu teased

"Shut up, I only find him interesting that's all and nothing more" you blushed

You were already at the school gate when you saw the bus of the opposing team. You went to the bus and bid them goodbye. You did this because you didn't want to be rude

"Bye everyone. Have a safe trip" you smiled then turned your back and was about to walk but you stopped and turned your head to looked at a certain person

"Though I  won't mind hitting some of your tosses, Kageyama"

You ran to your friends because they already left you behind. But on the other hand, Kageyama can't help but smile. Your words kept on repeating in his head

"Will do, (l/n)-san. Will do" he said

Hinata took notice of Kageyama's smiling face. And started to teased him but when Tsukishima overheard he decided to also join in.

"Oh? The King is thinking about his Queen?" Tsukishima smirked

"Shut up, Tsukishima!" Kageyama exclaimed while a tint of pink was visible on his cheeks

When they finished loading up their stuffs, they all boarded the bus. Takeda-sensei made sure everyone was seated before signaling Coach Ukai to drive

Meanwhile.......

"Their middle blocker is kinda fast, don't ya think?" Rizumu asked

"Yeah, not to mention that jump! He may be small but he sure can jump high" Izumi agreed

You just continued walking while listening to your friends. You still can't help but think of that certain setter. You didn't even notice your friends asking you something.

"Oi! (F/n)-chan? Oi!" Izumi called making you snapped back to reality

"H-huh? You called?" You asked

"You ok? You seemed to be spacing out" Izumi exclaimed

"Heh, must be thinking of Kageyama-kun~" Rizumu teased making you blush

"No, I'm not!" You defended

"Oh yeah? Why are you blushing then?" She teased again

You just gave Rizumu a sullen glance, leaving them behind since you noticed the bus coming out of the school gate

"Oi! (F/n)-chan! Wait for us!" Izumi called while catching up with you

But you fastened your pace, still leaving them behind. Rizumu and Izumi was still trying to catch up, you chuckled softly while you can still hear your friends calling you. The boys' team seemed to have heard Rizumu's voice so most of them looked at you and your friends through the window while someone had their eyes set on you and you alone

"Race you both to the neighborhood! Last one to get there will treat the whole team on the next group study session!!!" Rizumu shouted and started running ahead

"O-oi! That's cheating! Stop!!!" Izumi retorted and started running too

"What the...hey! Start the race fair and square, idiots!!!" You shouted and ran after them until you surpassed both of them
