The Vampire and Her Element

Chapter 40: The Kidnapping

   I woke up at the bottom of the pool. It was morning already. Why weren't there any kids yet the pool is always open from six am till ten pm. I slowly got up and started swimming towards the surface. I popped my head out of the water slightly. The end closest to me Carl had kept vines growing so no one could get it. On the other side Serafina had created a water barrier so no one could get it. Everyone else seemed to be sleeping except Kyle, he was pacing back back and forth. I stuck myself out of the water a little bit more than used my wings to fly out. I put myself on one of the open beach chairs so my tail would dry faster. Kyle had come running over to me. Once my tail disappeared, Serafina and Carl stopped blocking the entrances. I knew we were missing school but I didn't care. We have to get out before people start coming but how? I have an idea.

   "Elements get on the vampires. Kyle and Serafina are with me." I said.

   Serafina and Kyle walked to me. Jessica went to Kurr, Carl went to Matthew, Trey went to Tyron, Rose went to Viven, and Aqua went to Tanner. I think they all figured out what I was doing cause they all hopped onto their backs. I grabbed Kyle and Serafina. Then all at the same time we all looked at each other and nodded. We all took off. I flew up in the air while everyone else ran. I could see kids and parents staring in our direction as we took off. Soon enough though we had made it back to my apartment. When we got in I made sure I locked the door. I looked at everyone and could tell they were all drained. I have to let them sleep.

   "All of you go to sleep. We've been through a lot yesterday into today. Boys you can sleep in the living room. Tanner and Viven I have sleeping bags in my closet if you want to sleep on the floor. Obviously elements you may sleep in your element form. Kyle and I will be in the bedroom. If you need anything please let me know." I said.

   "Thank you Serina." Tanner said.

   "Of course." I said.

    With that I quickly went over to the closet and got out to sleeping bags. I handed them to Viven and Tanner. I went over to the balcony and shut it then locked it. I also closed the blinds. I went around my apartment and made sure all the windows I had shut and locked. I made everyone was situated then headed to my room. Kyle came in a few minutes later. I was on the left side of the bed and laying on my right side. Kyle got into bed and played right behind me. He put his hand around me and pulled me close to his body. I turned my body so I could see his face. I smiled and he smiled back at me.

   "Seeing Night. I love you so much." Kyle said.

   "I love you two Kyle. I always will." I said.

   With that he leaned in and kissed me. I kissed him back. Soon he ended the kiss.

   "You're tired and so am I. Sleep okay." Kyle said.

   "Of course." I said.

   I turned back over on my right side and Kyle moved me closer to his body again. He put his hand in mine and fell asleep. A few minutes later so did I.

   I was being shaken awake when I woke up. Carl was the one shaking me. By the way his face looked it seemed something bad happened. Slowly I removed Kyles arm from my waist and went out into the living room. Everyone was still asleep. I looked on the couch where Matthew was sleeping and he wasn't there. The balcony door was open and a note was left. It read:

   Serina,

        If you want your brother back then you better tell me where your parents are. If you don't then I will kill your brother slowly then send you all of his parts. You have until Saturday night to make your decision. Can't wait to see you again my old friend.

   I quietly cried and Carl hugged me.
