When she was training with Dazai, she discovered something new about her ability. It was to control other people's minds. She also had the ability to let people forget some memories. The memories become into a ball of yarn. The memories can be put back in her own will.

The fact that Dazai's ability didn't affect her, was too over powerful. His ability should affect her by now, but it didn't. The both of them kept waiting for that chance to open up.

She stopped her string-figures when she heard the door behind her open. She glanced at the person.

The person had a slim build and very pale skin. He had short, choppy black hair with side bangs that reach his chin and turn white at the tips. His sharp, grey eyes stared, or more like, glared at the woman in front of him.

(Y/N) wasn't fazed by his cold stare. A tense atmosphere lingered around them. To break up the tension, she decided to speak up.

"Who are you? If I may ask." She politely asked, not wanting a bad impression. He didn't answer and continued to stare at her. She was getting a little uncomfortable by his staring.

"I'm (L/N) (Y/N), if you didn't knew already." She introduced herself to the boy. He nodded. He quickly covered his mouth and coughed.

"Are you new around here?" She questioned. He nodded again, not uttering a single word.

"You can talk to me, you know?" She tapped her index finger against the metal railing, getting a little impatient.

"Sorry..." He mumbled out.

"It's fine really. Again if I may ask, who are you?" She walked closer towards him, to hear him a little better.

"I-I'm Akutagawa Ryuunosuke..." He spoke. His voice sounded cold and rough.

"I see. Would you mind that I stay here for a while? Kinda my safe place."

He immediately nodded. She smiled, walking towards the railing and leaned on it. Akutagawa quickly followed behind and went to her side.

Silence lingered around them for a while, nothing bothering them. Well it was disturbed when (Y/N)'s phone ringed.

She grabbed her phone and answered it.

"What?" She replied with a little bit of annoyance.

"I just wanted to check on you, (Y/N)-chan. You've been pretty moody lately." A very familiar voice replied back.

"Are you concerned for me, Osamu?"

The boy beside her perked up at the mention of the name.

"Did you just call me by my first name? Holy shi— I've been waiting for years!" Dazai shouted in her ear. She removed her phone from her ear, waiting for Dazai to stop rambling.

He eventually stopped rambling and asked her something.

"Where are you anyways? We're supposed to have training by now." His voiced was laced with a hint of sadness.

"You're the one whose always late! I always keep my temper in every single time."

"Right...Come over to our usual place. See ya' later, (Y/N)-chan."

And with that, (Y/N) was the first hang up. She was about to leave the railing but Akutagawa called for her.

"(L/N)-san, are you friends with Dazai-san?" He asked.

"Unfortunately, yes. Why ask?" She looked at him.

"Nothing really..."

She hummed in response.
