I'm y/n and I'm 20 years old. I'm diagnosed with a disease called xeroderma pigmentosum (xp). Which is a skin disorder that's why I am extremely sensitive to UV rays and my skin burns when the sun rays touches my skin. Ever since when I was a child, I always stare outside of my window. The glass of the window is not just an ordinary glass it has something on it which I don't know what it is called all I know is it can protect me from the sun.

I'm like a vampire. I'm awake at night but asleep when it is morning. But when I saw this boy, I keep waking up in the afternoon to see him. He always ride his bicycle when he goes home. His name is Chan.

Today is my graduation. If i was just a normal person I should be in school receiving my award but instead my dad, which is also my teacher, gave me my award as a sign that I've completed my home schooling.

It's 10 pm. I saw some people outside partying since they also graduated this day.

"Dad?" I knocked on the door to check if my father is in his room. And yes i was he is in his room. He is looking at the photo album. Particularly the photos of my deceased mom. She died when I was 15 years old.

"Yes y/n?" My dad asked and left the photo album in his bed.

"Dad can I go outside? I wanna play my guitar again outside." I tried convincing him. I usually perform on my favorite spot but I still need to ask his permission first. Music was always the one that gives me strength to continue living. And through music i always feel that my mom is with me. My mom was the one who taught me how to sing and play a guitar.

"But-" I looked at him like I was not going to stop until he says yes. "Ok, but only until midnight."

"Yes Daddy! Thanks!" I kissed his cheeks and went to my usual spot.

I am here at a train station. This became my favorite spot since only few people is here at this time and only few will hear me sing.

I started to strum the guitar and I started singing my favorite song.

Little did I know

People began to form a circle around me and sang along with me. Some put coins on the case of my guitar. A child passed and put a candy instead of a coin which made me smile.

That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles
And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet"
And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you, "Please don't go, " and I said

I feel happy doing this. Singing and playing the guitar makes my heart beats fast.

Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone

You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say "Yes"

I saw Chan coming close. I haven't finished singing but I put my guitar back to its case. I don't want him to see me and I don't know why.

"Wait-" he said but suddenly my guitar slid off from my hands. Good thing he caught it. And our hands touched... Why am I feeling like this?

"Uhm... Hi? Sorry but I need to go." I took the guitar and walk straightly.

"Hey! Wait--" I was not able to hear what he said because I quickly run as fast as I can.
