No POV
Soap and Roach were walking through the sewer of the Russian 'Gulag' weapons at the ready, trying to beat the constant ticking clock that is the Navy Artillery strike. They soon come up on a white brick wall and static comes through the comms in their ear.
"I'm detecting 2 heat signatures - one should be prisoner 627" Simon 'Ghost' Riley quickly tried to help them along. The two swiftly got into a position to breach the brick wall. Roach placed the breach charge on the wall, blowing it up and going round the corner ready to take out the enemy. Only to be met with prisoner 627 using a chain to choke out a russian soldier.
Roach lowered his weapon too surprised and confused to think straight about the situation. During this confusion prisoner 627 pushed the soldier into Roach knocking him to the floor. When Roach regained his mind all he could see was a bearded british man in a beanie pointing an AK at his head. Captain MacTavish pointed his sidearm at the man.
"Drop it!" He shouted, Roaches assailant otherwise known as prisoner 627 started dropping his guard, as if he recognised the Captain.
"Soap?" He asked confused looking at MacTavish lowering his weapon.
"Price?" Soap also lowered his weapon Worm coming out of nowhere asking who was Soap until an explosion was heard and MacTavish handed this 'Price' a M1911 right before helping Roach to his feet.
"Soap call of that Artillery strike off!" Price commanded MacTavish as if he were in command of the Captain. Soap nodded saying he would do his best and immediately got on comms and the explosions stopped.
"We need to get another prisoner out of here, prisoner 104, we need them!" Price ordered and Soap shook his head.
"Sir, with all due respect we came to get you and get out, the navy won't wait long before they open fire again" Soap argued, protesting they leave. Price didn't even listen and started ordering everyone on where to go while Soap reluctantly followed.
As they ran, russian soldiers in a snowy, arctic camouflage suit, ice white balaclava and large protective goggles, continuously opened fire with an assortment of weaponry, riot shields, AKs, bisons. A whole stocked armory. Even with all this, the skill of the elite force Task Force 141 gunned them down with ease.
Eventually, the team found a cell with only a large metal door that seemed to be silver once, but now brown and rusted over. There were no cell bars, just old, cracked and white brick walls. On the other side, an aggressive and very angry woman could be heard and the sound of a russian scream.
"Sarah! We're here to get you out" Price shouted through the door, the rest of the team looked at each other questioning what they just heard and whether it was a good idea to risk their lives for this person they had never heard of before.
"John?!" There was the sound of cracking as if a bone had broken "Get me out of here!" Price opened the door and there was a woman that was standing in front of a limp, lifeless russian soldier with a snapped neck. The woman had long, firey red hair, ocean blue eyes and pale skin. Just like the poor dead man behind her Roach's jaw went limp and dropped at the sight of what she looked like, seem's like Roach had developed a crush. Although quickly picked up by the imminent threat of a crumbling prison. The navy obviously decided they were done waiting around and started the bombardment again.
Roach quickly handed her his sidearm so she could defend herself. As they started running they reached some sort of cafeteria area with a large unexploded artillery bomb. Everyone was rushing to find a way out but to no a veil. Suddenly the roof started to crumble more and fall straight on top of Roach knocking him unconscious.
Magically right as Price recovered him from the rubble a chopper had arrived, dropping a thick metal rope down the open hole, landing on the massive bomb.
"Alright everyone clip on! Now lets move!" Captain Soap shouted over all the deafening noises that surrounded them. Everyone followed his order, it was either that or be buried alive and suffer a painful death. Once everyone was clipped on, the helicopter started lifting them away, just in time as well as the whole building started to fall in on itself. Creating a tsunami of dust and dirt all over the small mountain it was built on and into the arctic like ocean below it.
"Task force 141 this is Six actual, we are detecting 1 unidentified extra being carried away with you. Confirm friendly over" This made Soap look down at Price as he nodded, making Soap reluctantly inform that they were indeed friendly. Much to the relief of Sarah.
