I really can't stay - Baby it's cold outside

I've got to go away - Baby it's cold outside

This evening has been - Been hoping that you'd drop in

So very nice - I'll hold your hands, they're just like ice

"Hey baby," he says as he opens the big wooden door to his home. "What brings you by tonight?"

"I just had to get away from a little bit, and see you Harry." I tell him as I step inside taking off my black pea coat; which he politely takes hanging it up on the mantel.

We making our way towards the fire he must have started earlier, handing me a cup of hot cocoa. I follow him and sit next to him with our backs on the plush pillows that were leaning against the brick ledge of the fire place. Harry takes my hand in his "I'll hold your hands, they're just like ice." I smile at how sweet the man next to me is.

My mother will start to worry - Beautiful, what's your hurry?

Father will be pacing the floor - Listen to the fireplace roar

So really I'd better scurry - Beautiful, please don't hurry

Maybe just a half a drink more - Put some records on while I pour

"I really can't stay long, my mother will start to worry about me." I tell him knowing I told my parents that I was just running to the store for some milk to finish the Christmas cooking. Harry just gives me that crocked grin of his knowing just how my mother can be.

"Beautiful, what's your hurry?"

I just look into his deep green eyes that look almost like emerald from the light of the fire. "Oh Harry, you know my father will be pacing the floor. I told them I was just going to get some milk." I tell him.

We sit there for a few more minutes just listening to the sound of the fire roaring from the fire place. "So really I'd better scurry along now." I tell him looking deep into his loving eyes "You sure about that beautiful? Please don't hurry, we could have just a half a drink more." He said getting up to make us some more hot cocoa. As I walk over to the record player putting on our favorite.

The neighbors might think - Baby, it's bad out there

Say, what's in this drink? - No cabs to be had out there

I wish I knew how - Your eyes are like starlight now

To break this spell - I'll take your hat, your hair looks swell

"The neighbors might start to think something if I am here to long Harry." I laugh walking over behind him wrapping my arms around his waist.

"Oh baby, it's getting pretty bad out there," he said in a deep raspy voice, talking about the fact that it was starting to snow on my way over to his.

"What did you put in this drink Styles, trying to make me stay longer?" I raise an eyebrow at him as I take my mug back. Knowing just how much he loved when I randomly got the urge to hang out with him, even just for a minute.

"No cab will come for you in this weather." he jokes. It is times like these with our playful banter, and spending all morning together baking cookies with my mother, we still just could not get enough of each other. He grabs my coffee mug and sets both down by the fire place. He takes one of my hands in his, pulling the other around his neck, then gently places his other around my waist so we can dance to the sounds of Christmas music coming from the record player.

It is times like these that I wish I knew how I fell so hard for the man I was dancing with. As I lay my head on his chest I start to think about to our walk the other night when he said that my eyes are like starlight out here. I told him it was to break the spell, as he pushes a piece of my out of my face; taking my blacking beanie saying my hair looked swell with out it.

I ought to say no, no, no - Mind if I move in closer?

At least I'm gonna say that I tried - What's the sense in hurting my pride?

I really can't stay - Baby don't hold out

Ah, but it's cold outside

"I ought to say no to you right now baby." I say pushing myself a little away from him, but still dancing. "Mind if I move in closer then, beautiful?" his deep raspy voice is one thing that always makes me go weak in the knees.

"At least I'm gonna say that I tried to say no to you Mr. Styles." I say, as he pretends to be hurt by my comment. "What;s the sense in hurting my pride ( Y/N)?"

"I really can't stay you know this."

"Baby don't hold out" I look into his eyes trying to think about what I should do before we both say together, "Ah, but it is cold outside." As we break apart from our dance

I've got to get home - Oh, baby, you'll freeze out there

Say, lend me your coat - It's up to your knees out there

You've really been grand - Thrill when you touch my hand

Why don't you see - How can you do this thing to me?

"I've got to get home," I tell Harry as he goes to hide my coat the best he can. "Oh, but baby you'll freeze out there in that snow." he says coming up behind me wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Say, babe lend me your coat then, I've seen to have missed placed mine," I joke with him, as he kisses the top of my head.

"It is up to your knows out there you would be crazy to leave." he says while I turn around in his arm just so I can get a good look at his stunning facial features. "You've really been grand baby."

As I take his hand in mine we both feel a thrill sent through us, and I know it will be harder to leave. "Why don't you see?" I question this beautiful man.

"How can you do this thing to me?" he pokes his bottom lip out trying to give his best puppy dog eyes.

There's bound to be talk tomorrow - Think of my life long sorrow

At least there will be plenty implied - If you caught pneumonia and died

I really can't stay - Get over that hold out

Ah, but it's cold outside

Oh, baby, it's cold outside

Oh, baby, it's cold outside

"There's bound to be talk tomorrow baby we live in such a small town." he knows I am right. Everyone through town knew just were I was going at nine at night. "Think of my life long sorrow," he said with that pouty bottom lip still sticking out.

"At least there will be plenty implied," I laugh knowing there is always crazy rumoring going around about Harry and I, and what our relationship in-tales. "If you caught pneumonia and died..."

"I really can't stay Harry" I cut him off, pushing myself out of his arms.

"Get over that hold out baby, just spend the night one night."

He is right I never say the night with him, our town would be in an uproar if that happened and he knows it.

"Oh, baby, it's cold outside." I tell him as he is off to get my coat for me.

"That it is baby," he slip my coat on me, "I will see you tomorrow I love you."

"I love you too."
