A Mindless Generation

"She doesn't fit in. She'd never go to formal." Who are you to judge? And what defines normal?

"He has too many pimples, just look at his face." Do you think he can control that, any more than his race?

"She wears too much black. She could at least try to be more cheerful." Don't you think she's tried? You think she likes not being treated equal?

"He's such a wimp. All he ever does it write." How is that your business? You don't know what he goes home to at night.

Think before you act, or even just gab.

It could mean life or death, your one little jab.

Think about all that you could do, every day when you head off to school.

Lend someone a helping hand, there's more to life than just being cool.

Instead of judging others, try little acts of kindness.

One kind word can go a long way, in this generation that's gone mindless.
