Induction

Chapter 5

“Don’t. Martian beam us up,” Was all I heard before I was no longer on Earth but rather looking down on it. I saw the clouds swirling over the ocean blue, and I looked up and saw all the stars I would stare at as a child.

“Where are we?” I said amazed.

“The Justice League Watchtower, and just who you might be?” A man in a red suit with lightning bolts on it said.

“I’m Wonder Woman,” I said giving my superhero name, I did not trust this man to give him my real name.

“Well, what’s a wonderful woman like yourself fighting the Joker?”

“Cut it out Flash, we have work to do.” Batman said annoyed. I assumed the man in red was named Flash.

“Well looks like we’re gonna have a busy weekend, right Bats? Anyways I’ll meet you with the others in the main room” I suddenly saw a red streak flash before my eyes, and realized why they called him the Flash.

“Come on, follow me,” I obeyed and followed Batman down a hall.

“ATTENION ALL JUSTICE LEAGUE MEMBERS, MAY WE PLEASE HAVE EVERYBODY MEET IN THE MAIN ROOM.” A loud voice said over a speaker.

We walked down several corridors and finally made it to the main room. As we walked in there were only five other people in the room, and all ten eyes were on me. I became nervous as I recognized some of these people. At the head of the table was a largely built man, who I instantly recognized as Superman. To his right was a woman with wings and a mask, and I didn’t recognize her. Next to Superman on his left was Flash, who I met earlier. The final two men, I recognized one of them as Green Lantern, but the other I didn’t know who he was. I do know that he is not from Earth.

“Martian Manhunter, Flash, Superman, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, this is Wonder Woman.” Batman introduced me to them.

“What’s she doing here?” Hawkgirl said as I finally found her name.

“She is here because she fought the Joker and Harley Quinn with me, and we need her. Now let's get down to business. Superman, can you use your X-Ray vision to see what’s inside this box?”

I saw Superman’s eyes turn red, then go back to their original light blue. 

A/N There's that chapter. I think I'll only post one more chapter to this story because I have another story I'm currently working on and I want to focus on that one. Anyways thanks for reading:)
