My Inheritance

Chapter 10

"hades? are you awake hun?" the soft voice asked 

I opened my eyes fully and looked up to see Severus crouched down so he was eye level with me.

"yes?" i asked as softly as i could without waking my two mates up.

" tom and i need to speak with you.do you think you can come down into his meeting room?" severus asked in a whisper

i gave a small nod " i'll put this one the bed and i will head down" i whispered back

he gave one more small nod before heading back out the door closing it softly behind him on his way out.

i stopped a yawn making its way up and carefully moved my arms that were wrapped around the  sound asleep blonde and rubbed my eyes. stretching my legs out  and arms above my head i let out a sigh as i slowly got up from between the sleeping body, i carefully picked up Draco first and carried him to the king sized bed. placing him softly down i made my way back over to the louge and picked up a few things and placing them on the bed side table, as i went to go into the bathroom i felt a tug on my arm i stopped and looked back  seeing that draco had reached over  to grab me before i went away from the bed.

"draco?" i whispered

"where are you going?" he asked voice lacing with sleep

"i need to head down to the meeting room dray. i'm going to talk to tom and severus" I turned my body around now facing draco on the bed

"when will you be back" he asked softly rubbing his left eye tiredly

" i won't take to long. i promise. i'll be back before you know it, now go back to sleep" 

he gave me a small nod and curled back into the softness and fall back to sleep 

---------After going to bathroom and now present in the meeting room--------------------                      

still hades pov

I stood in the meeting room on the opposite side of the room. already knowing what this talk was about i decided to stay far away so they didn't try to touch me.I kept my distance like i have been doing for the past day and a half. I stood there awkwardly shuffling foot to foot waiting for one of them to speak, i kept my head down seeming that the floor at this point was way more interesting then looking at the two in front of me in pure silence.

"Hadrian." tom said seriously

i kept my head down, not wanting to meet both their eyes.

"hadrian look at us" severus said this time.

I lifted my head looking at the both now, i didn't dare move. it felt wrong to be in the same room as them.

"hades" sev said softly "you do know what you are really our youngest son right?" he asked even softer.

i didn't say anything i just stayed stiff. drawing in a breath and holding it in. i saw a flash of hurt go through both of their eyes. i felt sorry. but i couldn't speak.

"hadrian, they made one mistake on the paper you had gotten. it doesn't mean anything" tom explained

" it does" i whispered " it matters a lot" i turned my head to the side.

severus made a move towards me but i took a step back. keeping the same distance.

severus looked completely hurt. "i'm sorry" i whispered again " i don't feel like i should be in your presences." i told them both looking dead in their eyes now

"hadrian. James potter should be dead. but he just didn't die that night" Tom explained loudly

i winced " it doesn't feel right!" i half yelled 

"why doesn't it feel right?" asked severus

"it doesn't feel right. the fact that i'm here. i shouldn't be here." i whispered out

i hadn't noticed that both of them had slowly made their way over to me on both sides just in case i picked to run the other way. nor had i realized that charlie and bill were behind me waiting just in case as well listening in on the conversation that was happening at the very moment.

"hades explain to us. explain why you feel like this." tom asked softly

"i feel alone. more alone then i ever have, i found a family. i found people who cared for me for once. but i can't get over the fact that the paper had lied about mr.potter my supposed father.i don't get it." tears started falling from my eyes " no matter how many times i look at  myself seeing that i look like the two of you, no matter the fact i keep telling myself that the paper had made a small error. i can't get rid of that small voice in the back of my head telling me that i am just a sorry case. that i really don't have a family. that you are just doing this because you feel sorry for me." i hugged myself

"hadrian we don't care about any of that. we are happy you are our son, and i bet charlie and bill are also to have you as a brother." severus explained 

i felt my body shaking and the tears falling down my face as i stood in the room with my supposed family. "James potter" i said " i was known as 'harry potter'. how come he didn't come get his so called son at the time? how come none of you came up to me earlier to save me?" i whispered " bill and charlie had a few years before they left Hogwarts to come up to me. to help me." i looked up at the two adults " you both could have gotten me earlier, you could have saved me from an abusive childhood!" i whispered " Btut you had to wait until my uncle beat me black and blue and rape me for hours to get me!" i yelled as i wiped the tears from my eyes turning around blocking both charlie and bill and walking up to my room.
