Through the mist of small confusion, the teenage girl sat up and leaned over, grabbing a scepter from under the bed. Her (e/c) eyes looked over it in great detail for a moment before she got up to her feet.

It was then and there that a dark aura surrounded her and the hero, and in return the teenager jogged to the cracked open door. "If I had to guess, there's no time to change my clothes..." She half-heartedly joked, rolling her long night gown to a preferred height and kept it there with a rubber band.

The blonde haired teen started jogging up to her, a smile quirking the sides of his mouth. "Sadly no. But that was a good idea, with your nightgown I mean."

The girl laughed, letting the famous hero of Hyrule lead them to their destination. "We didn't have time to introduce ourselves, so why don't we do it now?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. "My name's (Y/N)."

The famous hero nodded his head. "Name's Link."

(Y/N) smiled slightly, coming to an understanding with her mind that Link was a cute name. However, she would never tell Link that out loud.

The rest of the trip was hushed silence, not that (Y/N) minded it. Her gaze turned towards the green grass, tall trees and sweet little butterflies that flew around them.

The two of them rounded a corner, a well hidden temple entering their vision. However on the inside it appears to be a home, and this confused (Y/N).

As the teenage girl stood in the doorway, Link moved forward, tending to the wounded and stuck in a state of shock. Finally moving (e/c) eyes took in every detail, the faded look in the green carpet - the dust collecting on the bed and the moonlight slowly turning into sunlight.

A yawn escaped (Y/N) lips as the scepter she brought with her tapped the ground. "Man... it must of been early in the morning..." She muttered, Link nodding.

"It was. We weren't expecting to be attacked by Ganondorf at that time, however the princess was quicker than the enemy thought." He explained, smiling softly once (Y/N)'s eyes shined brightly with excitement.

Link shook his head, taking a seat on the ground and staring at his gloved wrist. "You are such a child..."

"No I'm not." You retorted with a sleepy look and puffed out cheeks.

Without another word the hero closed his eyes and patted the empty spot next to him. (Y/N) looked confused until she looked around, noticing that the other survivors were laying down and getting comfortable to get as much sleep as they could.

The black haired girl sat down next to Link, the scepter resting comfortably in her lap as she let out a sigh. She heard of Ganondorf from somewhere, however the where was currently a fuzzy and hazy memory.

Another yawn escaped her lips as she realized how tired she became.

"So, what's with the scepter?" Link asked suddenly, taking off his green hat.

(Y/N) blinked at this question, noting at how unexpected it was. "The person who's raising me said it was the only thing that came from my real parents." She answered, laying down and clutching the weapon to her chest.

Link let out a hum of understanding and laid down right next to her, staring at the ceiling through the sudden silence. "I see... goodnight (Y/N)."

(Y/N) nodded sleepily, her eyes fluttering shut as she drifted off into sleep immediately.
