WHY ELIJAH?

Here we go again

''Savannahh! GET YOUR ASS OUT OF BED NOW!!'' My mom screamed.

I grunt, I put pillow over my head, I really should stop binge reading Wattpad and watching Netflix till really late.

I finally get out of bed and head towards the bathroom to take a shower and brush my teeth. 'I need some coffee,' I say to myself while looking in the mirror even though I don't drink it much.

After i'm done, I step out of the shower and wrap a towel around myself, then i walk towards my wardrobe and pick out a cute outfit for the day, which were my grey check mini skirt that came with a belt, my velvet textured crop top and knee high black heels. I apply a little bit of make up and some lip gloss nothing much, i put my hair in a high pony tail. Satisfied with my look in the mirror and my clothes that complimented my figure, I make my downstairs and am greeted with sweet mouth watering smell.

''Good Morning hun, ready for school?" She chimed. I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

"Oh well, maybe my pancakes will cheer you up" she claimed. Frantically i nodded my head as i eyed the pancake on the stove.

My Mom placed my food in front of me and retreated back to what she was doing before, I started to eat and when i took my first bite of luxury, I moaned and heard my mom chuckle beside me "You like it that much huh," she says. Then looked at her with such admiration if looks could kill this would be the best way to die.

I finally finish my breakfast then I run back upstairs and grab my school stuff, my phone and other things etc, I race back downstairs give my mom a kiss then head out the door. My mom brought me car last year so i could get from and too school so it would be much easier than taking the bus as my school was 3 miles away and the fact i begged her non-stop "I love her so much " I thought to my self.

About 10 to 15 minutes later, I make my towards the parking lot, I park my car and then lock it  as i make my way towards the school gates i stop dead in my tracks not because i want to but because of him Elijah king, he looks at me up and down with no expression on his face. But then i mustered up courage to break out the trance i was in and headed to my locker and leaned against it thinking why does he have the effect on me i mean he is drop dead gorgeous with his Ethnicity being Jamaican and Spanish, his curly hair, those hazel eyes that seemed to hold so many secrets with a body of a Gods favoured creation, he's ripped and is very strong and I mean strong, his sexy jawline.

"Even his name sounds dominating" I mutter it myself.

But I know better, how he uses girls like tissues and sadly dashes them in the bin metaphorically speaking, nonetheless better I mean who can blame him how can he love anyone I mean he rejected this as I motion to my body. I'm snapped out of thoughts.

''ANNABEAR!!!!'' my best friend shouts across the hall. I smile to myself as I turn around.

''RONIEEEEE!!' "I missed you so much" I shriek . Even though I just saw her yesterday me and her have been close ever since we were in diapers.

I engulf her in a tight hug and she wipes fake tears from her eyes I swear to good this girl kills me. ''Girl I see you so got any news for me?'' she asks.

I huff and puff then let out, ''Elijah I swear he has got my feelings in a confused state like I know he is all off limits and all that but, I can't help it's he's like a forbidden fruit I want it but can't have it, like 'TF' I hate him but have this automatic pull against him, he is my neighbour and the boy who broke my heart." I blurt out.

By cutting me off, acting cold,  showing no remorse and his desire of looking at me and trying to tell me the pain behind those eyes, however shut me out besides I cant risk get my heart broken by trying to figure it out what wrong with him what's more I like him but he can never return it back after this ain't no tale of how i'm gonna be with the bad boy oh hell nah.'' I respond as I take a deep breath as I look at her.

''Omg girl he's such a d**K, like how he got you twisted like that if I was you I would have demanded an explanation of why he is who he is now, urgh he's got my MF best friend in a daze we need a man to help you get over him boo like for real.'' she shrieked

I looked at her amused, a man to get over him I would consider it but another guy wont help my problems like I need more me time and self-love not a guy to play with my heart and for me too get over it ain't that easy.

''Veronica I wish I could but I'm not ready for a relationship all these guys won't benefit me, they would just be after one thing they don't the meaning of love, they brag about it yet, don't know it and wont be laughing about it when they are wiping off tears of their daughters faces despite the fact they are the reason why.'' I proclaim as I roll my eyes.

''Aww babes you have me, I love you for you and that will never change no matter what.'' she promises me and hugs me tightly.

Suddenly out of nowhere the bell rings for 1st period. I internally groan as i realise i have maths but i have it luckily with my Veronica and not him. I put on a brave face face and start to walk down the hall and enter my classroom.

"Everybody settle down please and take out your books and any other accessories you may need." Mr weather announced in his monotone voice.

I go to the back of the classroom and take a seat, while looking out the window thinking its gonna be a long day.

I take out my workbook, my pen, pencil and other stuff that I need for the lesson.

'' Okay everybody, we are going to start a new topic.'' The teacher says and the class groans including me.

The rest of the lesson was a bore and went by quickly like the next 3 periods as well and lunch was after that.

''RING!'' The bell rippled it's sound through the classroom signaling that 4th period was over.

I got up, gathered my belongings and walked out the classroom and my stomach rumbled and made my to the cafeteria, our school food was not that bad so I wanted to have food there i walked down the hallways and spotted my friend.

''Hey,'' I said cheerfully. she smiled and started to make her way towards me.

''Wassup boo!'' she shouts happily I'm about to open my mouth and say something but am cut off. As a large figure bumps into me I fall on my butt.

''Watch where your going'' A dark and husky voice said in irritation.
