hello! this is my second book so it should be better and more planned out. Thank you for all the love and support with my first book! if you haven't read it go read it... please. Alrighty, let's get started.
A young man strolled through the busy streets, maneuvering through the crowds. Watching out for people, apologizing whenever he did accidently bump someone. His heavy, round glasses slipping down his nose every now and the, only to be pushed back up. Messy, greenbush, like hair bouncing as he walked, a smile stretched his rosy freckled cheeks as he came upon a small comic book store. A younger man stood beside the door looking at his phone, looking up he soon spotted the green haired male and waved, "hi Izuku," Izuku's smile seemed to brightened as he was meet with one of his friends and coworker... well actually employee. Izuku owned this little comic store that sat right in the middle of two other small stores, one a bakerie and the other a clothing shop. He decided to own his own little shop, once he realised that his hero dreams would never become reality.. it was all crushed when all might even told him he could never become a hero.
"Hello, your here early," Izuku greeted, turning to open the door, the small bell ringing once the door swung open. Comics lined the shelves, bean bags and chairs scattered around the store. Posters of heroes and comics lined the walls as well as cool figurines. He flicked on the lights and straightened his glasses. His coworker, Robin laughed and headed towards the back to get ready, " I wanted to be able to see if I could sneak a peek at the new arrivals!," Robin yelled out, his voice bellowing through through the tiny shop, " but I forgot the keys so I just waited for you," Izuku giggled, rolling his eyes. turning to flip the open sign to open, he then set to work putting the comic books that were misplaced, back to the right spot.
"Did ya hear what happened just a few blocks from here?," Robin asked, he fixed his floppy brown hair, brushing it to the side. Robin was a few inches taller than Izuku, with floppy brown hair that swept to the side. He had dark brown eyes, that always seemed to hold so much mystery. He wore a red flannel button up shirt with black skinny jeans. Izuku had know idea why he decided to work here, he did like comics but to think someone in university decided to work here, however Izuku liked the company of the young man.
" Yeah, wasn't it a nasty villain attack, heard that Ground Zero had to get help," Izuku said. A small blush came to his cheeks. He hasn't told anyone that he know ground zero personally, and how that he used to be his bully... oh the memories. The green haired boy laughed to himself, as the childhood memories came flooding back.
" I heard that too, one of my friends said the villain had still managed to break lose, he's like out on the run and shit. He takes peop-" Izuku tuned the boy out, already knowing every detail about the situation. he went back to filling the shelves. His mind in an endless loop of memories. It seemed to be like that the entire day, Izuku never really breaking from his thinking. Soon it was the end of robins shift and he was done with Izuku's up in the clouds day. Robin clapped in front of the older males face awakening him from his current state.
"Oh sorry Robin," he blushed and rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment. In return Robin gave him an eyeroll, " you've been out of it all day," he laughed making his way to the back room, going to go change into his other work clothes. Izuku sighed and he sat down behind the desk, no one has come in yet but it was still school time. The high schoolers and middle school kids usually coming in the evenings. It was a small shop, almost brand new so not many people knew about it. He sighed again and dug into his bag that sat beside the counter pulling out one of his notebooks, he still kept all his notebooks from when he was fascinated about heroes, he still is 100% into heros but has toned down how much he writes about them. He chuckled to himself, remembering his 'stalker' like days, writing ever detail he could about a hero even there shoe size. He grabbed his all might themed pen and began to write, drawing out little hero's across the page, just doodling mindlessly.
" Alrighty i'll take my leave now, see you tomorrow," Robin called from the back door. Izuku said his goodbyes and got back to doodling.
The bell from the front door rang out, scaring Izuku, he quickly collected himself, " hello, do you need any help," he smiled up at ... BAKUGO!! Izuku nearly jumped out of his skin.
"K-kacchan i-i mean.. grOun- Ground Zero, what..why. aha ha," his words jumbled up , a massive blush covering his freckled cheeks. He forgot to mention his growing love for the number one hero (ew i think of all might whenever i say number one hero) he had this crush on he blonde since middle school, yes he was bullied by him but he knew how Kacchan worked and that he was deeply sorry for his actions. He got on apology back in highschool, 3rd year. Kacchan came to found him walking home one day and pulled him aside to apologize. Of course it was ina Kacchan like way. Izuku had forgiven him all the way back in middle school. So the apology has left the two as friends. Sadly... oh ah wait that-
" Hi dek-Izuku," Kacchan spoke, he has been working on fixing his behavior towards the green haired boy, and calling him buy his name was him trying to show he was trying his hardest. Now you might be asking why was the blonde in a comic book store, well... he actually found out the green haired boy owned this little shop. He might have wanted to see izuku but he would never tell anyone.
"what are you doing here ground zer-"
"Call me by my name," bakugo spoke, he liked the nickname he was given and wanted to hear it again. He also wasn't really working right now so that name annoyed him.
" Oh sorry, whats are you doing in such a place bakugo?," bakugo's chest tightened, he wanted 'Kacchan' not Bakugo. He sighed and looked around the shop he noticed his merch hanging on the wall, he smirked. "oh, I just saw you through the window and decided to say hi," he lied. he knew for a while now that the green haired man worked here. He just finally worked up the courage to walk in.
"Your such a loser," he scolded himself mentally. A small giggle echoed the shop, the beautiful sound making its way to the blondes ears. A small smile grew on his face and walked up to the counter where the man sat.
" Well, your welcome anytime," Izuku siad, brushing some hair behind his ear. They stared into each their eyes before the ding of the front door bell rang out again, scaring them both again.
" hello," Izuku spoke, welcoming the kids that rushed through the store," if you need any-,"
"GROUND ZERO!!!" the children screamed, totally ignoring Izuku, but he was used to that kind of treatment. The kids where always interested in the books. Izuku didn't seem to care too much if they listened or not, just as long as they had fun. Kids ran to Bakugo's feet grabbing at him and screaming for him to sign anything the had with them. Izuku looked at Kacchan and smiled, he then stood on his tippy toes to reach the blondes ears, " please stay," he whispered , pleading to the blonde to stay so that all this kids could get his autograph. The blonde looked down at the small male and grumbled.
" Fine," he couldn't say no, it would have been impossible, plus he secretly knew that he also wanted his autograph to add to the many he already owned of other heros. Those were actually christmas presents from the blonde. Ever since he became a hero Deku always sneakily asked for one.
"Alright kiddos, get your asses ready,"
"Kacchan," Izuku harshly whispered hitting the blondes side. A laugh escaped Kacchan's lips, surprising everyone. a surge of happiness swelled in the blondes heart as the simple nickname 'Kacchan' came from the man's lips
