Backstory

So this story starts about 400 years after the founding of Raleigh. Raleigh a country/continent founded by Sir William Raleigh. Sir William Raleigh was a famous explorer who found and established what is now the country/continent Raleigh. His family is still the royalty in charge of running and governing the country. There is currently quite the dilemma for the royals who are currently being held as captives in their own capitals' prison. A country from the south, Ashor, is invading Raleigh for the plentiful natural resources . You see, while Raleigh is a country with many different biomes, landscapes, and resources. Raleigh a country still not fully developed and still has a lot of room for growth. On the other hand, Ashor is a warring country that is much older than Raleigh and has to fight for many of its resources. So, Ashor saw Raleigh as a good way to get resources without many casualties. And they were right, Raleigh is a peaceful country with not much military might. There are a few exceptions to this, such as the royal court wizard, Marlin, who is one the most known wizards in the world for his ability. Born from the goddess of destiny, Talana, he is able to see bits and pieces of the future. He is not the most useful in battle, but is very helpful in many other aspects. While there are a few great people in the Raleigh's military, the Ashor military is a military force made up soldiers who are trained since being able to walk. Jacob will have a bumpy road ahead, but does he have the strength and determination to be the hero the Raleighian people want and need?
