28 | Like We Used To

These last three chapters will be individually dedicated to three of my favorite readers. (Hindi included yung mga nakakainteract ko sa twitter - maybe except for one, just maybe - because you know I already love you, guys. Give chance to others. :P) So, if nadedicate-an ko kayo, it's probably because yung usernames nyo ang lagi kong hinahanap sa notifs ko. (Ma-flatter kayo or else gagawin ko kayong sausage platter! Dejk.) So ayun, I feel like I'm emotionally attached sa inyo. Klk. Thank you very much sa support. :)

Pero kung hindi ko naman kayo nadedicate-an, it doesn't mean I don't appreciate your support for my stories. I'm very thankful po sa lahat ng nagbasa/nagbabasa/magbabasa nito. Walang magagalit ha? Eleeeevyeew all.  :)))

Chapter 28: Like We Used To

FF >> 2 WEEKS

WENSH’S POV –

Dalawang linggo na ang lumipas since Mika’s birthday. Dalawang linggo na din since Jeric and I had the talk. Hindi nya ako tinantanan at magdamag akong kinulit. Halos magdamag nga yata kaming magkausap sa celphone that night. Ilang beses kong binabaan ng phone then pinatay ko din yung phone ko kaya lang ako naman pinagalitan ni Mika dahil sya naman ang kinukulit ng future brother-in-law nya. And so, yeah, we had the talk.

*insert ringtone here*

~ JERIC CALLING … ~

WENSH: Oh ano? You’re gonna be late?

JERIC: I’m outside actually. I can see you from the window.

WENSH: Weh?

JERIC: Look through the window.

I stood up and looked through the window. Hinanap ko sya sa may parking lot na katapat lang ng bintana. Nakasandal sya sa sasakyan nya habang kinakausap ako.

WENSH: Katatapos pa lang ng coffee break namin. Mamaya pa ko uuwi ah. Ang aga mo naman.

JERIC: Takot ko na lang ma-late ‘no.

WENSH: So kailangan talaga one hour advance? (chuckles) May kailangan ka ba?

JERIC: Wala. Just want to see you.

WENSH: Bolero.

JERIC: Behind you.

WENSH: Ha?

JERIC: Look behind you.

Tumalikod ako at nakita kong nakatingin sakin si Rodney. I quickly ended the call at medyo nataranta na din.

WENSH: H – hi, sir. (fake smile)

RODNEY: Ang aga ng sundo mo. (chuckles)

WENSH: Ah … o – oo nga eh.

RODNEY: You can go home.

WENSH: H – hindi pa. May trabaho pa po ako.

RODNEY: Jeric and I already talked. Come on. Go with him. (smiles)

WENSH: Rod – Sir Brondial –

RODNEY: (inabot ang handbag) Go.

I did what I was told. Kinuha ko yung mga gamit na kailangan ko at nagpaalam pa rin kay Rodney kahit alam naman nyang aalis ako. Sya na nga nagpapaalis. Pagkalapit ko kay Jeric, hinampas ko sya agad sa braso.
