Date Night
Y/N's One on One Session...
Your POV
"So, today is your date night. How are you feeling?" Ellis asked.
"I'm extremely excited, but still kinda nervous. It's like our first day all over again," I said wiping my hands on my pants.
"That's good. Where was your first date?"
"Santa Monica Pier. I remember she hurt her ankle, after I told her not to wear heels, so I ended up carrying her back to the hotel room. Bella helped her wrap her foot and when I came back to check on them. Bella told me that there was a cookie in the oven for me. There was a big heart shaped cookie that said 'be mine' in pink and white frosting and I obviously said yes."
"I bet Bella had it already planned out."
"She did. She had the icing ready and made sure she made the cookie," I replied smiling.
"How have things been at home?"
"It's been great. Spending a lot of the time playing with the kids. We've been playing soccer the most. They've been busting my ass like for real," I said making her laugh.
"That's great. What about with Normani?"
"We've been talking a lot more and just enjoying each other's company. Whether it's when we go to bed, we make sure we make time to talk to each other or just be in each other's presence."
"Any arguments?"
"Not really. They're really just disagreements that we don't dwell on anymore."
"I've never seen a couple make progress like you and Normani have. Right now they'd still be pointing the finger at each other and not accepting what they've done."
"After that session with the kids, we had a long talk about what we can do to make sure our kids never feel like that again."
"I am so proud of y'all," she said. The rest of the session went like any other session, so when I was done, I had to pick up Adonis from my mom's house. He wanted to see his nana, so I took him to see his nana.
"Y/N," Amauri yelled running to me. He wrapped his arms around me and I chuckled.
"What's up, little man?" I asked.
"Nothing much. Adonis and I played soccer and he whooped my butt. He's got mad skills," Amauri said and I nodded.
"Mama," Adonis squealed and ran for me. Amauri let me go, so I could pick up Adonis.
"Hey, love bug," I said wiping the sweat off his forehead.
"Hey, momma," I said as she came inside the house.
"Hey, baby. How are you?" she asked kissing my cheek.
"I'm good. How was he?" I asked gesturing to Adonis.
"Good as always. He's a little soccer player I see," she said and I nodded, "he reminds me of you."
"He does," I said and Adonis was asleep on my shoulder.
"Just like you. Falling asleep at anytime. Get my baby home," she said. I said bye and headed home. Bella was in bed because she wasn't feeling well. Bri was in her room and Mani was doing work in her office. I gave Adonis a bath and put him in a pull up along with some pajamas.
"Wan' Bri," he mumbled pointing at her door as I walked out of the bathroom. I knocked on her door and she said it was opened.
"Hey, mama," she said pausing her game.
