🕷Spiders🕷 and the fight over Nico

Percy went over to Frank and whispered something in his ear. "Are you sure?" Frank whispered back nervously. "She'd kill me for that."

Annabeth raised an eyebrow. Percy went to Piper and whispered something else. Piper nodded, then turned to Annabeth.

"Did you read the latest issue of the Daily Herald?" Piper asked Annabeth quickly. "There's this boy who..." While they were talking and Annabeth's back was turned, Frank transformed into a spider and climbed up Annabeth's hair, resting in the center of it.

"Annabeth," said Piper, "there's um, something in your hair?" The daughter of Aphrodite was trying hard not to laugh.

Annabeth reached up and felt her head. "It's furry," she observed, "it has eight limbs, wait what?!!"

Frank the spider climbed into her hand and tried to look adorable, making whatever sounds spiders make when they are trying to look adorable.

"Eek! It's a spider! Percy, get it away from me! Go away, you furry little---where's Frank, by the way?"

"You just solved the mystery! You win a cookie!" Percy laughed. Frank the spider turned back into Frank the human.

"PERSEUS JACKSON!!!" If Annabeth had gotten Leo's powers, she would be on fire.

"See, Frank?" Percy yelled as Annabeth chased him around the room. "It's not you she's killing, it's me!"

After Annabeth had calmed down (by punching Percy across the face), it was Frank's turn to ask.

"Reyna!" The Praetor sighed. 

"Look, everyone, I don't have time for this, I'm only here on a visit!"

"Which is why you must spend your time doing something fun!" Will added.

"Reyna, truth or dare?" Frank asked her.

"Truth, if I must."

"Do you like Nico?"

Will looked at Reyna with a glare that said, if anyone tries to steal my boyfriend, I will personally murder them.

Nico was blushing a lot, which looked weird on him since he was usually very pale. Reyna was also blushing.

"Of course not! How dare you accuse me of---of loving when I have so many duties to do?"

"Reyna, answer honestly!" Thalia said. Somehow she looked angry. "It was you and Will who stole the chance of me loving Nico!"

As soon as Thalia realized what she said, she clapped a hand over her mouth.

"Oooooooo!!!" Leo grinned. ""Your secret is revealed, Thals!"

A bolt of lightning came down, tore a hole in the cabin roof, and almost struck Leo. He barely dodged in time.

"No one steals my boyfriend from me and gets away with it!" Will, who normally was peaceful, looked like a storm cloud. He jumped up angrily.

"I never loved him!" Reyna yelled. "He was just a friend!"

"Sure, keep telling yourself that, but what about when you hugged Nico?" Thalia yelled. "I wish I hadn't joined the stupid Hunters!"

Suddenly Artemis herself appeared.

"L-Lady Artemis!" Thalia looked petrified. "I-I didn't mean that..."

"I should have known." Artemis's voice was low. "You always had a soft spot for Bianca di Angelo's little brother. Fear not, you have served me well, Thalia. I will let you go in peace. But think carefully; if you go now, you may never return."

"I am sure." Thalia said firmly. "I-I love Nico, my lady."

Artemis nodded sadly. "If that is your choice, I will accept it. Goodbye forever."

She disappeared into shimmering silver light. Thalia had tears in her eyes.

"Um, Thalia?" Frank peeped up uncertainly, "It wasn't...I wasn't asking you."

There was an uncomfortable silence. Finally Nico said, "Please, stop fighting over me!"

"Well, we'll just have to ask the readers to vote!" Percy said cheerfully.

"The readers?" Jason asked. "Who are the readers?"

"The ones reading this story, Jason!" Percy smiled. "Anyway, readers, vote on the space below! Say 'one vote', and that's it!"

"He's gone crazy," Piper said to Annabeth.
