Ouma's POV:

So...much luggage...can't...move anymore...I felt myself sweating as I tried to push my luggage towards the dorm room. It had so far been a long and torturous process, the move to Hope's Peak itself had proved to be challenging, not only had the vending machines ran out of panta, a crime by the way, but my subway card had run out and I had just wasted my 'emergency money' on snacks, so I had to carry my luggage FIFTEEN MILES towards Hope's Peak Academy.

Yes, it is true, despite all the odds and beliefs that I would amount to working at a fast-food restaurant- I HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO HOPE'S PEAK ACADEMY! Take that Grandma! And thank you, Grandma, for finding me on the side of the road and driving me to Hope's Peak before I got mugged.

For the second time.

I finally reached the top of the stairs and looked around the hallway, this building was for guys only and I could see a few upperclassmen walking past me with a weird look. Well, I'm sorry if clown masks creep people out, how else am I supposed to brag that I'm the leader of DICE?

I took out my keys that I had gotten from the front desk and opened my room, it was huge and bigger than my bedroom at home and the kitchen combined, my eyes widened as I headed in, it was pretty generic, the rulebook said we could decorate it as we see fit as long as we didn't paint the walls or replace the flooring, we also were in charge of cleaning up our rooms to prevent maids from messing with the secret projects of some students here.

It didn't matter that much for me, I wouldn't clean it anyway.

"Knock knock, open the door right now or I will kick it down" Someone called from the outside, I raised an eyebrow, no way he got here before me...I hesitantly grabbed my bat and carefully peeked through the peephole, ah man...it isn't a stranger...darn it.

"Come on Kokichi let me in! Mirai stole all my food! The cafeteria doesn't reopen till tomorrow and I'm starving!" he screamed I groaned putting down the bat and opened it up to reveal Nao. "Oh thank you! Did you get some chips? Please say it isn't salt and vinegar, that's all Eiji had and those are DISGUSTING!" Nao complained helping himself to sit down on my bed and opening my snack bags.

"No, I'm not a monster," I told him, "thank GOD, the school hates snacks for some reason because a fancy-ass school means we have to have 'sophisticated' meals, KOKICHI I'VE BEEN DYING FOR A YEAR!" Nao screamed, "Mirai doesn't even attend the school and I'm already getting mugged what am I going to do if she gets here?!" he complained.

"Starve I guess," I told him, "KOKICHI YOU'RE NOT HELPING ME!" Nao screamed and I laughed, "man I can't believe you're here, as the supreme leader no less, our friend group must be prodigies or something Kich!" Nao bragged.

It's true, last year Tsuki, Nao, Taka, and Eiji all managed to get accepted into Hope's Peak Academy, which shocked our entire district as we hadn't gotten a single ultimate in years much less this many all at once, people were celebrating for weeks, it only grew in size when Genkei, Chiasa, Riko, Kazue, and me also got accepted which made our tiny corner of Japan all of a sudden the 'Home Of Ultimates' and there were theories that our friend group was training all our lives for this.

We weren't, but I like the theories.

"Do you think Mirai and Takura will show up next year?" I asked, "God I hope not...well I guess I would only need to deal with Mirai for a year before I graduate" Nao groaned, "can you stop making noise...?" I heard and turned around to see Eiji, he looked tired, "hello to you too," I said, "oh...so you weren't lying," Eiji said, he almost looked surprised.

The keyword is almost.

"How dare you think your leader isn't talented enough to get here!" I scolded, "you have talent?" I heard someone grunt, I turned to see Kazue at the door with his luggage, "you're all traitors" I cursed, "yeah and you're a fucking angel, ok I need to find out where room 127 is?" Kazue asked confused, "oh that's upstairs! I think you might be my new neighbor" Nao said excitedly.

"God damn it..." Kazue muttered, "Hey I thought we were friends!" Nao complained, "I don't need to hear you cry about Toy Story 3 through the walls" Kazue grunted as he grabbed his bags and headed up, "hey that was Takura! And wait for me! I need to steal your food!" Nao called out, getting out of the room at the spear of light, "I'm not giving you my food!" I heard Kazue scream from down the hall.

Yeah, this is just like home.

Private school is overrated.

"Well that's a shame...hey Kokichi have you heard about the pastries at the school?" Eiji asked, "what?" I asked, "oh you didn't know? We have world-renowned chefs at the school to help make pastries...they're not my deserts but it's fine" he told me with a shrug.
