the fireworks show lasted a few more minutes, ending with the biggest firework being set off and the staff thanking the crowd for coming to the fair. the guests clapped in delight and glee, everyone fully enjoying the fair and the firework show being the cherry on top.

they exited the way they came in, mingyu offering to take wonwoo home again. "it's okay, junhui and soonyoung can take me home." wonwoo smiled.

mingyu chuckled, "are you sure? because i think your ride just left without you." wonwoo was confused and turned around to find junhui's car nowhere to be found. he heard the screeching of a car and looked on the road to see said car about to drive off. "have fun, wonwoo!" junhui yelled, smiling and waving before driving off.

"what the hell!" wonwoo whined, watching as the car drove off down the road. he turned around back to mingyu, who was quietly sniggering to himself. "shut up, just take me home."

"no need to be bossy, you damn prince." mingyu laughed, starting the engine as wonwoo hopped on behind him, hugging onto mingyu's waist again.

the journey back home was silent and calm, neither talking to one another as wonwoo rested his head on mingyu's back, closing his eyes from time to time whenever he started feeling sleepy.

when they arrived in front of the huge residence, mingyu stopped and lightly tapped on wonwoo's head behind him to wake him up. wonwoo woke up instantly and apologised for falling asleep so easily. "why are you sorry for falling asleep? we all do it so you don't have to say sorry for doing something human."

wonwoo pouted shyly. "sorry- i mean, okay." mingyu showed a small smile on his face as wonwoo started to walk up the pathway. he hid his smile when he saw wonwoo turn around. "thank you."

"thank you for what? i just invited you to a fair?"

"you're so dense, i swear." wonwoo chuckled, earning a whine from mingyu. "i mean thank you for showing me what having fun is like." he smiled.

mingyu smiled back, a genuine smile. "it's no problem."

"you don't mind if we make a group chat with all of our friends? you know, if we decide to hang out all together again." wonwoo asked.

mingyu shrugged, "i don't mind. though i can't guarantee that we'll ever read or respond." they chuckled, wonwoo's laugh sounding heavenly and music to mingyu's ears.

"goodnight, mingyu." wonwoo said, mingyu responding with a smile before wonwoo disappeared into the house.

"goodnight, wonwoo hyung." mingyu softly said, starting his engine again and driving back to his own house.
