Prolonge: Birth

Toothless P.O.V.
It was another day in the comfy darkness of the egg, I could hear voices and growls from outside as usual. But today felt different, it was tighter in the egg than usual. It was hard to move, but I tried to stretch. I felt nudging from the outside, I let out a chirp as I start to stretch more I needed room, I needed to get out. I pushed my head up, pushing against the shell *must get out* was all I could think of as I kept pushing up. There was a crack where I had pushed and a peak of brightness, I must break free. I let out another chirp hearing a purr of encouragement from the outside, so I kept pushing. The crack gets bigger, the brightness brighter, but I must get out. My snout breaks free as I smell the cold fresh air as well as the scent of two other creatures. After a few moments of rest I continue to push upwards, finally I could see outside the shell. It was blurry at first but then I saw them, the two creatures I smelled and two other eggs like mine. The big blue creature purrs and licks my face, it was wet and warm and very comforting. I chirp back as I wiggle and squirm desperate to get out of the egg. The egg falls over breaking from the side as I crawl out and look at the two large figures, they smile and purr before nosing, licking, and nuzzling me. I purr back and reply with licks of my own.
End P.O.V.

"Oh honey, he's perfect" said the Blue Night fury as she nuzzles her darker mate

"He sure is baby" he purrs licking her back "just two more to go"

She nods "I love you Night Claw"

"I love you too Blue"

The two new parents purr and nuzzle each other as they patiently wait for the arrival of their two other cubs.
