It was officially moving day. I was moving to Salt Lake City with my mom. I was so nervous. It was just my mom coming with me. My dad had to stay back for some work. I just broke up with my fellow co-star Ethan Wacker. Lots of stuff was happening in my life right now.

It wasn't my first time filming a tv show before, but I was way more nervous about this one. Mostly because Bizaardvark was filmed in LA, so I didn't need to move across the country, and I was confident about Bizaardvark.

This show was different. To bring honest, I was a little scared. What if the fans hated it? It was a High School Musical Spin-off. What if everyone had a bad mindset going into it, thinking it was going to be bad?

I had been stressing about this for awhile now. And my mom noticed.

"It's going to be fine baby." She said as we were driving to our apartment.

I took a deep exhale and nodded. 6 months in a new place, with new faces.

I have never met anyone in the cast except for Sofia Wylie. She was also on Disney, when I was. We were on Red Carpets together, and we did interviews together, but other than that, I didn't know anyone else.

There was one boy named Joshua Bassett, who I met at my audition, so we could do a table read, and he seemed really nice. He was outgoing and very sweet. He could tell I was nervous and told me that I would do fine. We also had to sing together 'Count on Me' by Bruno Mars. I have heard of him when I was on Disney, but we've never really met.

But today's a new day for new beginnings. Time to show the world what Olivia Rodrigo is capable of, I kept telling myself.

We pulled into the parking garage, and my mom and I started walking towards the elevator to get to our flat. This was my new home.

My mom grabbed my hand and we opened the door.

The apartment was really nice. It had two bedrooms and a big kitchen and two bathrooms. Nothing too fancy, but it was fine for the two of us.

I had to get moving because the creator, Tim Federle had asked for all of us to meet up that evening for some ice breakers.

I'm a shy girl. I was scared for what my future brings.

~2 hours later~

We had mostly unpacked everything, because it was just clothing and kitchen products. Everything was already shipped last week.

Now it was time to head to this conference room that Tim has invited us all too. I was so nervous. I had major butterflies in my stomach.

Like I said earlier, I have only met Sofia, and barely Joshua. But the whole cast is pretty big, so lots of new faces. All I hope is that, everyone is kind.

My mom grabbed my hand as we walked inside the building, where I was meeting everyone.

"It's alright Liv. I'm sure everyone is going to be so sweet. Besides you have already met Sofia. She's nice." I nodded. I guess she's right.

The second we got off the elevator we ran into Tim.

"Olivia! Hi so good to see you! Are you excited?!" Tim spontaneously said.

My mom cut in, "yes she's excited!" Before I could tell Tim that I was nervous.

"Good to hear that, because we are actually asking all parents to meet each other on the forth floor. Some are already down there. I want to spend some time with just the kids, and they are going to spend some time by themselves too. I feel like kids are more open when they aren't surrounded by their parents."

My heart sunk. No my mom can't leave me. I don't want to act like a baby infront of Tim Federle and my future co-stars, but I'm so anxious and I hate being alone.

Just thinking about it is made my eyes water. I was trying really hard not to cry. Everyone in that conference room would think I was such a baby. But I love my mom so much, and I hate meeting new people, alone.

My mom saw me getting worried and she gave me a big smile and two thumbs up. She walked into the elevator and made her way down to the forth floor.

I just want to run into the bathroom and cry. Tears were swelling in my eyes. In fact I was about to, until someone tapped me on the shoulder.

"Hey are you ready to come inside?" This voice said. I sort of recognized it. It's like I have heard it before, but I couldn't differentiate it.

I wiped the tear that slid down my cheek and turned around to see who's talking to me.

Joshua Bassett?

"What's wrong?" He asked me with a concerned face.

"Oh sorry," I sniffed "just a bit nervous for today."

He grabbed my hand and walked with me into the conference room.

"Sit beside me!" Joshua Bassett happily said. He leaned in and whispered "I don't know anyone either. Don't worry Olivia."

How did he already know my name? Why was he acting so nice? At least I have one friend.

We all went around the room, and Tim would ask a random question when it got to us. Then eventually Joshua introduced us all to his famous game called 'spicy uno'. It was a hit. There were 8 kids there, so it was a little hard to learn everyone's names. The only ones I knew were Sofia, Joshua, and this very attractive looking boy named Matt Cornett.

Today was just meeting for everyone, but we have to attend these three times a week for 2 months. 1 out of 12, done.

After we were done, I started walking out until Joshua grabbed my arm from behind.

"Hey you were great today!" He said.

I shyly smiled.

"I know you are shy, but I don't think they even noticed. You looked like you had fun." He said. He was paying attention to me in there?

Maybe Joshua is really that nice. I can't wait to tell my mom that I have one friend!

Authour's Note: ok im sorry I just reread this and it's really bad. Like There isn't much going on, and it was quite tedious to read. But I PROMISE it's better. I have just started writing chapter 2 and it's getting better. Please don't judge my book after one chapter.

I'm a learning writer, and this is just a learning experience for me.

Please keep reading my book, because I can promise you that it gets better!

Also for future reference, 99.9% of the time when it's in bold it's an ant hours note. Cause I'm too lazy to write 'authors note' everytime I make a comment, so just bold is Millie talking and not Olivia.
