"You're late," Ren noted, as Bokuto and Akaashi stepped into the gym. Akaashi raised his eyebrows.

"And whose fault do you think that is?" He grumbled in retaliation.

"Not mine," Ren quipped back, "it's not my fault you couldn't keep track of the time."

"I hate you."

"No you don't."

"No I don't." Akaashi relented, eyes drifting towards the left side of the gym, where Bokuto was spiking against a wall.

Dangerously close to a window.

Ren followed his gaze, coming to the same realization as him. The two might not share the same brain cell, but at that moment, they both had the exact same thought cross their mind.

Fuck.

Of course, the loud shattering sound didn't bypass the principal, who happened to be passing by. Ren knew she had literally signed herself up for this, but sometimes she found herself regretting it. Knowing how to sweet talk was a good thing, though, and definitely came in handy. Though, someone still had to pay for damages, and Bokuto's broke ass definitely wasn't doing it.
