Start from the beginning

"What?" An explosion can be heard in the room. "Well I expected that reaction."

I muted out their voices and read a book about the being they were talking about. Hearing that Mori-san killed the previous boss of this organization, I was a little bit surprised.

time skip to when Mori removed the covers of the windows

I closed my eyes quickly as they removed the covers. Being in the dark space for a while kinda has it downs. I adjusted to the light and stood up. Since getting distracted for a couple of times is getting annoying.

I walked beside Dazai, grunting from the pain of the broken bones. Spacing out for a while. "Chuuya-kun." Mori spoke breaking me out of my trance. "Just what is Arahabaki?"

"We looked it up ourselves and found that it was a mythical divine beast. (L/N)-san kept reading about it." Mori-san looked at me, I nodded.

"Yes, but its legend is so ancient, we remain clueless about its true form." I finally spoke, grunting the fact we still didn't know its form.

"You believe in gods?" Nakahara asked. (a/n: you, the reader call chuuya by his last name, I thought it was kinda cute) "It can't have been a coincidence that were investigating the Arahabaki too."

"You heard the same rumors as us and were trying to find the truth, right?" Mori-san asked Nakahara.

I looked at Dazai. "Hey, Dazai." I called him. "What is it? (L/N)-chan?" I looked at the boy in front of us. "How old do you think Nakahara is?"

I was getting curious of the gravity manipulator. "Nakahara? You're the first person I heard to call Chuuya that." Dazai chuckled, I felt my cheeks getting warmer.

"Oi! Back to my question!" He chuckled once again. "I don't know, maybe 13, 14?" I chuckled as well. "Looks like it." Dazai looked back at the two, I did the same.

Mori-san and Nakahara talked about Arahabaki and the Suribachi district. "What do you think, Dazai-kun?"

"It was probably an ability we don't know about. If that footage earlier wasn't doctored, we're toast." Dazai closed his eyes for a brief moment.

"Good grief." Mori-san sighed. "Dazai-kun, this is your order. Before the previous Boss' supporters see anything like that footage, find the culprit. Understood?"

"That's a tight deadline, and I have to do it all alone?" Dazai looked at me, his eyes pleading for me to come with him. Seems like he would come Nakahara on this one.

"Not alone." Mori-san looked at me, I shook my head no. Then I looked at Dazai, he looked like he was about to cry. "Have Chuuya-kun help you out. Since (L/N)-san still needs to rest from her injury."

"What?" "Hell no! Why should I work with this moron?" I giggled softly at the childish act. "Say what? I'll kick your ass, punk!"

"You're a punk too! And you're shorter than me! Also to (L/N)-chan!" Dazai pointed out. I think I was only an inch taller than Nakahara. "What?"
"Drink more milk!" I looked at Mori-san, he's looking a little bit pissed.

"Mind your own damn business! I'm 15! I'm still growing!" He's 15? Doesn't look like it- "Shut up, both of you." The two kids stood up straight. "Chuuya."

Mori-san faced them and called the boy on his right. "You do realize that you can't defy my orders, right? You too, Dazai-kun."

"If the supporters find out, you'll be tortured for being my accomplice. You won't die a painless death." I sighed knowing Dazai would say something back. "What makes you think this is the optimal solution?"

"I have several reasons for making you two team up. First, it's easier for someone outside of Port Mafia to go around talking to people, and secondly, Chuuya needs to be watched so that he doesn't betray us. And lastly, it's a secret." As Mori-san finished, he looked at me.

"It would be great if (L/N)-san were to join you, but due to her injury she wouldn't be able to." Nakahara looked at me with remorse and shame.

"I would gladly help, but since Mori-san ordered me to rest, it seems that is a miss." Dazai harshly patted me at the back, I hissed in pain. "Dazai..." I smacked him at the back of his head, he clutched his head in pain.

"All of you may now leave." Us three directed ourselves to door but the boss called Dazai. "Also, Dazai-kun?" Dazai turned himself to Mori-san.

"What is it, Mori-san?" I waited for Dazai while Nakahara was already turning the door knob. "Please escort (L/N)-san to where she is staying, I wouldn't like my other accomplice to get hurt on the way home."

"I can take care of myself, Mori-san. And I'm much stronger than Dazai, these broken ribs are just in the way." Mori-san looked at me sternly. "That's exactly why, (L/N)-san."

I groaned, knowing the boss was right. "Fine, let's go." I turned to leave, Dazai following behind. Nakahara opened the door and went out quickly.

As Dazai was walking me towards Oda-kun's house or the curry shop, Nakahara slowly followed behind.

We reached the place, I quickly went inside, wanting to lay in bed and rest. "Arigato, Dazai." I turned around to go further in but a hand took hold of my wrist.

"What now? Dazai?" Knowing that it was him from the bandages. "Can you please call Dazai-san just this once?" His eyes pleading.

I rolled my eyes and face palmed. "Dazai, you know very well that I don't have that kind of respect for you." I peeled his hands off my wrists. "Please! (L/N)-chan!" Dazai latched to my legs.

"Aren't ya' annoying?" Dazai rolled his eyes. "You're just stalling, right?" He flinched And looked down.

"You don't want to be with Nakahara?" He nodded. "Well, too bad!" I used my strings to remove the clingy bastard from my legs.

"I ain't doing that with you, since I need to rest." I quickly turned around. "But, (L/N)-chan-"
"Come on, don't be f#cking like this. Good luck with your mission." I slowly closed the door.

"Dazai-san." I shut the door completely. Hearing the happy noises from outside, he heard it loud and clear.

That girl...

Why did I felt sorry for that brat? Just a little kick wasn't that serious. I mean the broken bones are...but that doesn't matter!

I still gotta know who the culprit is with this annoying suicidal maniac. "Did you heard that, Chuuya? She called me Dazai-san!" Why is he so happy by a little thing? "Shut up, will you?"

"Nope!" I groaned, knowing this was gonna be a long day for me.

Yo! I'm on a roll this time. Having two chapters in about three days is a achievement!

Anyways I will skip the part where Chuuya and Dazai find out who or what Arahabaki is. I know there are some parts there that are important, but I will make it up to you with having you, the reader have more interactions with Chuuya!

See you next time! Farewell~ヾ(^-^)ノ
