Part One

Jace POV

I wake up and head straight to my desk. I pack my spell book and everything else you need for school. Then I do my daily text of my best friend Ryland. Gosh I wish we can be more than friends.

I'm one of those popular kids, so I have to keep it up. We popular kids are called the Warlocks. Literally every Warlock in the school is popular. We literally have to live up to the standards, we have to not turn on each other, have to have a girlfriend no matter what, and yeah. I don't like the girlfriend bit though.

Having to stay in the closet is pretty hard for me, I mean, no one knows, not even my sister, Annabelle. I can't trust Annabelle. Teleport to the school while saying a single spell. I walk through the halls and I hear kids talking about how we are getting a new girl, a mermaid. Annabelle will be all over her, trying to make her join her secret evil witch army. Fun..

"Yo! What's up dude!" Ryland says, coming up to me, we do our handshake. "Hey, nothing much. Just the usual." I said with a huge sigh. "Oh come on dude, don't be always down, enjoy life" He says while patting me on the back. "I guess your right" I shrug.

Me and Ryland walk up to our friends. "Yo, did you hear the new girl is coming? Who's gonna get with her first?" Jordan asks us. "I vote Jace" I hear someone say. Everybody agrees. I sigh.

Jordan hands me a ember. "remember, get close with her, date her, and then steal all her powers and put it in this ember. Give this ember back to me so I could give it to the secret witch and she could be the most powerful witch in the land"

"Yeah yeah, I know" I say. I head to my locker and wait for the new girl to arrive.
