The Prophet PBUH said
A disbeliever will be asked, 'suppose you had as much gold as to fill the earth, would you ransom it to free yourself (from Hellfire)?' he would reply 'Yes' Then it will be said to him, 'You were asked something easier that (to join none in worship other than Allah ie: accept Islam, but you refused).
