32. Labor/ Delivery- Yugyeom 💛

I'm still a week away from my due date so baby Sunhee could be coming soon. Yugyeom and I can't wait to meet our little girl. I would say we are just about ready for her arrival. Not long now anyway. We know that our little girl is going to be so beautiful. We just cannot wait to meet her. So exciting. I'm almost full term but I'm still going out with Yugyeom for short amount of times but not too long as I don't want to go into labor in public. We are out at the local supermarket now. I am taking it easy though and not doing too much. Yugyeom is doing all the heavy lifting of course. We are going down the aisles slowly but surely. I started to get tired and flag a bit. "Are you okay, honey?" Yugyeom asks. "Yeah" I reply. As we got to the end of shopping I start to feel a small contraction come on. I didn't want to tell Yugyeom as we were almost done. We go to the checkout to pay. Another contraction comes on. A few minutes later we were done and leaving the supermarket. As we approached the car, I stopped and clenched my bump. "Y/ N, are you alright? You don't look okay" he said. "Yugyeom, don't panic. I think I might be in labor" I reply. "It's okay, love. Let's get you to the car" he said. We go to the car. Just as I was about to get in, my waters broke in the parking lot. Jeez so embarrassing. "Let's get you to the hospital" Yugyeom said. "No wait. Can we go home first. I want to get our things" I reply. "Okay, baby. Whatever you want" he replies. We go home and arrive soon. "You can wait here. I won't be long" he said. "No I want to come in" I insisted. "Y/ N. You won't feel like going in. We live on the top floor" Yugyeom said. "I'll be okay" I say. We go inside and get the elevator up. "Sweetie, you're not okay. I told you to stay in the car. We really need to get you to the hospital" he said. "I just wanna rest a few minutes please" I say plonking myself down on the couch. I just wanted to wait till the contractions got worse before going to the hospital. I really hate hospitals. They are shit places

I waited a while longer till I felt better. "Should we go now?" Yugyeom asks. "No, Yugyeom. I don't want to. I want to stay here" I say. "But, honey. We need to get you to the hospital. You can't have the baby here" he said. "No one said I can't. I really don't want to go to the hospital. I don't like it" I say. "Okay I guess you could stay here. I'll call the hospital" Yugyeom said. I sit on the couch and Yugyeom phones the hospital. I wanna stay here and give birth. I don't want to go up the hospital. He spoke to them and they said it was okay and they are sending a midwife out soon. My waters have broken so I'm in labor. The midwife arrives about an hour later. "Hello, Y/ N. I'm Michelle" she said. "Hi" I say. "Hey" Yugyeom said. She takes a look at me. "Ohhhh you're almost half dilated" she said. "Okay how long should it be" I reply. "I don't know. Maybe a few hours" Michelle replies. She waits with us till my labor progressed. I'm so glad I am having our baby girl at home. Sometime has passed and I'm in the later stages of labor now. I feel much more relaxed and happier that I'm giving birth in my own home. I don't like hospitals at all. It wasn't time to push soon but nearly. Yugyeom was by my side all the time. So was Michelle. "Not long now" he kept on saying to me. I am using my exercise ball to help. I wanted to get the best position to give birth. "Y/ N, you're fully dilated now. You can push when I tell you to" Michelle said. "Okay" I reply. About half an hour later and I could push. I was leaning against the exercise ball as it was the most comfortable position for me. Yugyeom was by my side and rubbed my back and held my hand as I was pushing. Michelle was encouraging me to push. "You're doing really, Y/ N. I can nearly see her head" she said. I carry on pushing but I remember to breathe and relax too. "You're nearly there, babe" Yugyeom said. "Here she is" Michelle said as Sunhee was born. She let out a big cry when she was born

Michelle clean baby Sunhee off and wrapped her in a blanket. "Congratulations, guys. She's so beautiful, I'll let you have a few moments with her" she said. "OMG she is breathtaking" Yugyeom said. "She is. Hello, sweetie. You're so beautiful" I reply. "She is. Just like her mommy" he said. I look at him and smile. "I have the two most beautiful girls in the world by my side. I'm such a lucky man" he said. We spend sometime with baby Sunhee and we were totally besotted with her straight away. She's a miracle. The most beautiful little thing ever. Our lovely baby girl. "Do you want to hold her now?" I say to Yugyeom said. "Yes I'd love to" he replies. I hand Sunhee to Yugyeom to hold. "Hey, beautiful" he said to her. "Awe" I say. "I can't believe she's here. I've been waiting for this moment for 9 months now" Yugyeom said. "I have too. It's felt like a long time but finally our baby girl is here" I reply. "She is and she's absolutely gorgeous" he smiles. Later Michelle had to take Sunhee's weight and stuff like that. Then I had a go at breastfeeding which was good. I wasn't that keen on the idea at first but I changed my mind when I went to prenatal classes. Anyway me and Yugyeom are all happy that our little girl is here. Sunhee is the most beautiful little girl ever
